Pharmacies · Lead generation
Answer the prescription photo before the customer passes another chemist.
The enquiry in a pharmacy is a photograph of a prescription sent during the evening rush, often by an adult child paying for a parent in another city. GullySales sets who answers it, what the first reply confirms, and the delivery slot your counter can actually keep.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means
Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For pharmacies
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The message arrives at the worst possible minute”
Seven in the evening, six people at the counter, and a prescription photograph waiting. That is when the order is won or handed to an app.
“The sender is often not the patient”
A son in another city is paying for a parent's monthly medicines. The son wants a confirmation, a bill and a time, and will never walk in.
“Half the exchange is a stock question”
Is it available, is there a substitute, what will it come to. Answering needs somebody who can walk to the shelf, not somebody reading a chat on a bus.
“Silence is read as no”
The customer does not wait. They pass two more chemists on the way home, and one of them picks up the phone.
What we do
What we deliver for pharmacies.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A named person on the prescription number
Who holds the enquiry phone through the evening rush and who takes it afterwards, written on the board so it is never everybody's job.
Result: The message is read while the customer is still deciding.
A first reply that confirms three things
Stock, the substitute if the item is unavailable, and the amount, sent as a saved message so nobody is composing one under pressure.
Result: The customer knows in minutes that you can serve them.
A delivery slot the counter can keep
The hours you deliver, the areas you cover and how long it takes, agreed with the staff before any of it is promised to a customer.
Result: You stop promising what the evening cannot deliver.
The paying relative recorded, with consent
Where a family member elsewhere pays for the order, their number and address noted with permission, so the bill and the confirmation reach them.
Result: The person paying stops having to chase you.
An order book with reply times by hour
Every call and message logged with the time, what was asked, when it was answered and whether it converted, read together afterwards.
Result: You can see the hour you keep losing orders in.
A dispensing check inside the routine
Prescription validity, the schedule of the medicine and the record-keeping treated as part of taking a remote order, confirmed by your pharmacist.
Result: Convenience does not quietly become a licence problem.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries generated
- Cost per enquiry
- Enquiries by source
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Where enquiries come from
A pharmacy's orders come from calls, messages and clinics, and each should be recorded without noting more than is needed.
- WhatsApp prescription
- Record the sender's number, the time received and who is dealing with it. Reply by confirming the items, the quantity and the delivery or pick-up time, and check the prescription before dispensing.
- Phone call for a regular refill
- Log the customer, the usual items and the last purchase date. Confirm what is in stock and when it can be collected, and note any item you could not supply.
- Walk-in at the counter
- Take a phone number from those who agree, with the household and the items bought. Ask whether they want a reminder when the regular medicines run low, and record yes or no.
- Google profile call about stock or hours
- Tag it as Google. Callers usually ask whether you are open or have an item, so reply plainly and note the item named, without recording any health condition.
- Clinic, nursing home or old-age home
- Record the institution, the contact and the items it buys in bulk. Settle the billing arrangement in writing, and check your own pharmacy rules before any arrangement with a doctor.
- Neighbourhood society or senior citizens group
- Log the group, the contact and the dates of any talk or health camp. Offer a delivery slot for members, and keep what members buy private.
Who it is for
This is written for these pharmacies.
- Independent neighbourhood chemists
- Pharmacies attached to a clinic or nursing home
- Hospital pharmacies serving outpatients
- Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras and generic medicine stores
- Multi-outlet local pharmacy chains
- Franchise outlets of national pharmacy brands
- Surgical and medical equipment stores
- Pharmacies stocking Ayurvedic and homoeopathic medicines
- Twenty-four hour and late-night pharmacies
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- No one is assigned to read the WhatsApp number before the evening queue builds, so more messages would only lose the customer.
- You hope a clinic nearby will send patients in return for a payment; that is not a lead source this trade may use.
- Billing software does not record the customer's number, so there would be nothing to follow up with.
How it works
How the lead generation work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Understand your capacity
We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.
- 2
Audit current sources
We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.
- 3
Strategise the channel mix
Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.
- 4
Implement capture and follow-up
Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.
- 5
Measure and optimise
Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
