Physiotherapy clinics · Branding

Look like a clinical practice a surgeon would refer to, not a wellness studio.

Branding for a physio clinic covers the name, the clinical setting, therapist credentials and the tone of every message. Together these signal a rehabilitation practice a surgeon would refer to, not a wellness studio. GullySales sets this once and carries it across the website, the profile and every referral letter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For physiotherapy clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Clinical credibility matters more than a spa-like look”

A surgeon deciding where to refer a post-operative patient looks for clinical competence, not a calming interior alone.

  • “Therapist qualifications belong on the identity”

Stating each therapist's specialisation, sports injury or neuro-rehab, clearly on every material builds trust faster than a general team photo.

  • “The tone shifts for different patient groups under one identity”

A page for prenatal physiotherapy should read gentle and reassuring, a page for sports injury should read active and results-focused.

What we do

What we deliver for physiotherapy clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Therapist credential display standard

Each therapist's degree, specialisation and registration presented the same way on the website, profile and clinic walls.

Result: A referring doctor can see who they are sending a patient to before calling.

  2. Clinical-setting photo brief

A shot list for the treatment room and equipment that shows a genuine rehabilitation practice, not a wellness studio.

Result: A first-time patient's first impression matches the clinical care ahead.

  3. A tone guide for different patient groups

Written guidance on tone, gentle for prenatal care, results-focused for sports injury, kept under one consistent identity.

Result: Each patient reads a message that speaks to their own situation.

  4. Identity kit for referral materials

Logo, colours and layout applied to referral letters, visiting cards and the Google profile.

Result: The clinic looks the same to every patient and every referring doctor.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Positioning in one sentence

The sentence a physiotherapy clinic can fill in so a patient and a surgeon both know what you treat.

We treat [conditions] for [type of patient] in [area] through [assessment, a plan and exercise follow-up], and unlike [a general wellness studio] we [report back to the referring doctor].

Who it is for
A patient with a slipped disc, a person after knee replacement, an athlete, a pregnant woman, or the orthopaedic surgeon who refers. Choose the group you most want to be known for.
What you treat
Say the conditions in words a patient types: back pain, frozen shoulder, post-surgery rehabilitation. Technique names like dry needling can follow lower on the page.
What a patient gets that the next clinic does not
A named therapist who stays with the case, a written exercise sheet for home, and a note to the surgeon. Pick what is true for every patient.
The proof you can show
Therapist qualification and registration where applicable, photographs of the clinic's equipment, and surgeon referrals only with consent. No outcome claims and no before and after of patients.
Words patients ignore
'Advanced', 'pain-free' and 'miracle' fall flat or break the rules of the profession. Replace them with the condition, the plan and what a first visit includes.
The name and tagline test
Check that the name does not promise a cure and that it still fits when you add a second therapist. A tagline should describe the care, not the result.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the branding work runs

  1. 1

    Interview customers and team

We talk to real buyers, won and lost, and to people inside the business who deal with customers daily.

  2. 2

    Review the competitive field

We look at how the nearest competitors present themselves so the position is not accidentally identical.

  3. 3

    Draft the position

A first version of the positioning statement and messaging pillars is written and checked against what customers actually said.

  4. 4

    Test it against real conversations

The draft is tried out in a real sales call or two before it is finalised, since a position that does not survive a real conversation needs rework.

  5. 5

    Hand over the rollout brief

The final position, pillars and not-for list are documented for your team and any agency to apply consistently.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

All case studies
  • Kerur Pain Clinic

    Situation
The clinic had no website setting out its services, so a patient weighing it up had nothing to read before deciding to come in.
    What we did
    • Competitors mapped
    • A website that answers the patient
    • On-page and local search work
    • Link building and technical fixes
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to look clinical or approachable?
Both, clinical enough for a referring doctor to trust and approachable enough for a nervous first-time patient.
Does branding matter for a small, single-therapist clinic?
Yes, consistency across your profile and materials still builds trust before a patient ever visits.
Can our board say 'Dr' before the therapist's name?
Check with your own professional council. Use of the title by physiotherapists is argued over and rules differ by state and body, so rely on your council's guidance, not on what other clinics print. A safe course is the name followed by the qualification as awarded.
Should the clinic be named after a condition, like 'Back Pain Clinic'?
Condition names help search but box you in if you add neuro or paediatric work. A neutral clinic name plus a descriptor such as physiotherapy and rehabilitation ages better. Let condition pages on the website carry the specific words and keep the board broad.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
