Physiotherapy clinics · Buyer journey

Map the different paths from sudden pain, surgery and chronic conditions.

Buyer journey mapping for a physiotherapy clinic traces the distinct paths a patient takes. An acute injury is decided in minutes, a post-surgical referral over days, and a chronic condition over weeks. GullySales maps each journey and fixes the step where patients drop off before completing their course.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer journey means

The buyer journey is the sequence of steps a customer actually takes, from first hearing about you to deciding to buy, which is rarely a single visit or call. GullySales maps this sequence for your business and checks that something useful happens at each step instead of only at the final call.

For physiotherapy clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Acute and chronic patients decide on different timelines”

A patient with sudden back pain books within the hour, while a chronic pain patient may compare clinics for weeks before committing.

  • “The referral journey depends on the surgeon's confidence”

A referred patient often books the first suggested clinic unless the process to book there is visibly slow or unclear.

  • “The mid-course drop-off is where many patients are lost”

A patient who feels better after two or three sessions often stops before finishing the recommended course unless someone re-engages them.

What we do

What we deliver for physiotherapy clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Acute injury journey map

A map of the steps a patient in sudden pain takes from search to a booked first session, showing where speed matters most.

Result: You know exactly which step to speed up to catch a patient in pain.

  2. Referral journey map

A map of how a surgeon's recommendation reaches a booked appointment, and where friction slows a referred patient down.

Result: A referred patient books with less back and forth between clinic and surgeon.

  3. Mid-course drop-off review

A review of where patients typically stop attending before finishing a recommended course.

Result: You know the exact point in a course to focus a re-engagement effort.

  4. Chronic condition journey map

A map of the slower, weeks-long decision a chronic pain patient takes, including the content and reviews checked along the way.

Result: A patient comparing clinics for weeks finds the reassurance yours offers.

How the result is measured

  • Drop-off rate by step
  • Time from first contact to sale
  • Steps with no content

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Stages of the patient's journey

How a patient moves from pain or a surgeon's referral to a finished course of sessions.

Pain starts or a surgeon refers
The patient is in pain after a fall, a surgery or a long spell of back trouble. State on your listing and page which conditions you treat, so a search for the problem finds you.
Search and call
The patient searches by condition and area, then calls to ask whether you treat it and when a slot is free. Give your hours and the next open slot, and ask what the doctor has advised.
First assessment
The physiotherapist examines and explains the problem. Explain the plan in plain words, what each exercise is for and what to do at home, and hand it over as a printed sheet.
Booking the course
The patient decides whether to continue past the first session. Present the recommended course and the reason for it, and let the patient choose how to pay without pressure.
Mid-course
Pain eases and the patient feels well enough to stop. Say at the start why the later sessions matter, and call anyone who misses an appointment to rebook.
Discharge and the surgeon's update
The course ends and the referring doctor wants to know. With the patient's consent, send the surgeon a short progress note, and give the patient a home exercise sheet and a date to review.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer journey work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the sales process

We walk through how a sale actually happens today, from the person who first answers an enquiry to the one who closes it.

  2. 2

    Audit the data

Website analytics, call logs and CRM records are pulled together to see where people actually drop out, not where they are assumed to.

  3. 3

    Interview buyers and staff

A handful of recent customers and the team who speak to them fill in the reasons behind the numbers.

  4. 4

    Build the map

Stages, touchpoints and drop-off points are set out in one document everyone can read the same way.

  5. 5

    Fix and measure

Each fix is implemented against the stage it addresses, and the drop-off rate at that stage is checked afterwards.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Why does this matter more here than other clinics?
Because outcomes depend on completing a course, not just attending once, so the journey has to be tracked past the first visit.
What is the most common drop-off point?
Mid-course, once initial pain relief makes the remaining sessions feel optional to the patient.
Who else is involved when an older patient chooses a physiotherapist?
Often a son or daughter searches and pays while the patient decides whether to go, and the surgeon or family doctor may recommend a clinic. Write a short note for the family on what happens at the first visit, home visits included, and send it to whoever enquired.
A patient booked one session and did not return. How do we find out why?
Look at your register for patients who attended once and note the condition, therapist and slot. A short call asking whether they have questions is fine. Cost of the course, travel and feeling better are common reasons, and each needs a different reply.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
