Appliance repair technicians · WhatsApp marketing

Use the chat your customers already open to quote, confirm and be remembered.

WhatsApp marketing for an appliance technician is using the app for what customers already do with it: send a photograph of the fault, get a quote, confirm a visit and save your number. GullySales works on the business profile, the quick replies and the lists that keep you in touch.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For appliance repair technicians

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The customer sends a photograph before they ring”

A picture of the dead geyser or the error on a microwave display is easier to send than to describe. A technician who asks for the photograph and the brand on chat can give a better first view and a firmer visit charge.

  • “A chat is a record of what you promised”

When a quote, a visit time and a visit charge are in writing on WhatsApp, a dispute at the door is rare. The customer can scroll back, and so can you, which protects both sides.

  • “A saved number is worth more than an advertisement”

If your number is saved with the appliance in the name, the customer finds you in their contacts when the next fault appears. A friendly message after the job that asks them to save the number does that work.

  • “A broadcast to everyone is a mistake”

A message about chimneys sent to a household that only has a geyser reads as noise. Lists split by appliance and season keep messages relevant, and relevant messages are the ones that are not muted.

What we do

What we deliver for appliance repair technicians.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile set up properly

Name, appliances, areas, hours and a catalogue entry for each appliance you repair.

Result: A customer who opens the chat sees what you do.

  2. Quick replies for the common questions

Saved replies for the visit charge, the details you need, the arrival slot and the job slip.

Result: You answer the same question the same way each time.

  3. A photograph request message

A reply that asks for a photo of the appliance, the brand label and any error shown.

Result: You start the call already knowing the machine.

  4. Appliance and season lists

Customer lists grouped by appliance, with a short opt-in message to join a seasonal reminder.

Result: Reminders go only to those who want them.

  5. A permission and opt-out routine

A plain way to ask before adding a customer to a list, and to remove them when they ask.

Result: Messages go only to people who agreed.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business app?
It suits a technician well, with a profile, catalogue and quick replies. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging and on sending to lists before you start.
Can I add customers to a broadcast list without asking?
No. Ask first, in your own words, and keep a note that they agreed. Messages to people who did not expect them lead to blocks and damage your number.
What if I get messages while I am on a job?
Set a short away reply that says you are on a job and will reply when you are free, and asks for the appliance and a photograph. The customer then knows they are not ignored.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step
