Cook placement agencies · Local SEO

Show up when a nearby family searches for a cook the same morning.

Local SEO for a cook placement agency is the work of appearing on the map and in local results when a household searches for a cook near their address. GullySales sets up and maintains the Google Business Profile, the area wording and the review replies that tell families whom you serve.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For cook placement agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search says near me”

A family in need of a cook this week searches with a locality or a phone's location. The agency whose profile names the areas served and the cuisines placed appears; the agency with a bare listing does not.

  • “An office address can mislead”

Placement agencies work from a small office or from a home. A profile that implies a shopfront invites visits that never happen, while a clear service-area statement sets honest expectations.

  • “Reviews describe the cook, then the agency”

A family writes about the cook who left. A reply that explains how replacement is handled shows the next family what happens if a placement fails, which is what they are really asking.

  • “Phone calls arrive at the wrong hour”

Placement calls come early in the morning and late in the evening, when a household is deciding. Opening hours that do not match, or a missed call, send the family to the next profile.

What we do

What we deliver for cook placement agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile setup

Business type, service areas, cuisines, hours and a plain description, all matched to what you actually place.

Result: Your profile states the areas and cuisines you serve.

  2. Service-area wording

A clear statement of localities covered, kept the same on the profile, the website and apartment notes.

Result: A family sees the same coverage everywhere you appear.

  3. Review reply guide

Reply wording for a good placement, a replaced cook and a complaint, written so each reply explains the trial and replacement terms.

Result: A new family reading replies sees how problems are handled.

  4. Photos and posts for the profile

Pictures of your office or team and short posts on cuisines currently available, never of cooks without their consent.

Result: Your profile shows an active, real agency.

  5. Calls and message tracking

A log of calls and WhatsApp messages from the profile, with the cuisine asked for.

Result: You can count enquiries that came from the map listing.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these cook placement agencies.

  • Home cooks for vegetarian households
  • Home cooks for non-vegetarian households
  • Regional cuisine cooks such as Udupi, Andhra, Kerala and North Indian
  • Live-in cooks
  • Part-time and morning cooks
  • Cooks for PGs and hostels
  • Tiffin and canteen kitchen cooks
  • Cooks for events and small functions

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we list several areas without an office in each?
List the areas you serve as service areas and do not show addresses you do not operate from. Check the platform's current rules for how service areas and addresses should be shown.
What if a competitor writes a false review?
Do not reply in anger. Report it through the platform and answer calmly with facts about the trial and replacement terms, so the next reader sees how you handle a dispute.
Do reviews need the cook's name?
Not needed, and a family may prefer to leave it out. Ask for a review about how the agency handled the match and the trial, and keep a cook's personal details out of public replies.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
