Electrical contractors · Lead generation
Getting onto the bid list happens months before the BOQ.
Lead generation for an electrical contractor is being on the list when a BOQ goes out, and chasing the estimates already sent. GullySales builds the consultant and builder list, logs every estimate with a follow-up date, and logs the renewal and tender dates you tell us about.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means
Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For electrical contractors
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A BOQ is not a lead, it is a shortlist you were already on”
By the time the drawings arrive, the decision about who gets asked was taken months earlier in a conversation nobody recorded.
“The estimate you never chased is the biggest loss”
Two evenings of pricing go out and nothing comes back, and the next sign is another contractor's van parked at the site.
“An AMC renewal has a date on it”
Apartment associations and facility managers renew electrical maintenance contracts in a known month, and almost nobody asks them before it comes round.
What we do
What we deliver for electrical contractors.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A builder, consultant and architect list
Every firm that has sent work or could, with the person's name, what they have seen you do and the date you last spoke to them.
Result: You notice a source going quiet before the work goes elsewhere.
An estimate log with a follow-up date and a loss reason
Every BOQ and estimate recorded with the value, the date to call about it and, when lost, the reason you were given.
Result: The reason a job went elsewhere stops being a guess.
An AMC and shutdown calendar
Renewal months for apartment and building maintenance contracts, and the planned shutdown windows at nearby factories, each with a person to approach.
Result: You ask before the contract is renewed without you.
Document set kept ready for tender submissions
For the tenders you decide to respond to, the documents and enlistment details prepared and kept current so nothing is missing at submission.
Result: A tender you choose to answer goes in with its documents complete.
Homeowner enquiry capture
A form and phone routine taking the property type, the age of the wiring and the load being added, so a site visit is judged before it happens.
Result: Site visits stop going on enquiries you would decline.
Value by source reported
Estimates sent, orders won and value by builder, consultant, tender and homeowner, read against the baseline taken before the work started.
Result: You can see what one client's slowdown would cost.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries generated
- Cost per enquiry
- Enquiries by source
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Where enquiries come from
The places an electrical contractor's enquiries arrive, and what to record at each.
- BOQ sent by a builder or developer
- Record the project, the date it was sent, the closing date and who sent it. Reply by confirming receipt and the date you will submit. Note which floors or blocks are in scope.
- Tender invitation from an MEP consultant
- Log the consultant, the project, the licence class asked for and the approved makes. Ask early whether the make list is fixed, as that decides the rate you can offer.
- Site walk with a plant or facility head
- Write down the load, the panel age, the shutdown window and who will approve the spend. Send a short note after the visit stating what you saw, so the site walk is on paper.
- Housing society or building committee request
- Record the secretary's name, the job, and the meeting at which it will be decided. Offer to attend that meeting, as committees compare quotes there rather than by phone.
- Maintenance contract renewal or breakdown call
- Every breakdown call is a lead for the contract. Log the site, the fault, the date and the AMC end date, so a renewal call goes out before the contract expires.
- Referral from an architect or interior designer
- Record who referred and what they saw of your earlier work. Thank them with the outcome, whether you won it or not, so they keep sending jobs.

How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the lead generation work runs
- 1
Understand your capacity
We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.
- 2
Audit current sources
We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.
- 3
Strategise the channel mix
Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.
- 4
Implement capture and follow-up
Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.
- 5
Measure and optimise
We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
