Electrical contractors · Local SEO

Set the service area, because your office is down a lane.

Local SEO for an electrical contractor is the map listing a homeowner or a facility manager finds when the wiring keeps tripping. GullySales sets the service areas and categories, puts panel room photographs on the listing, and states your emergency policy honestly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of electrical contractors at work in India

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For electrical contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The pin matters less than the service area”

Crews work across the city from a small office in a lane, so the localities you cover carry more weight than the address does.

  • “Contractor and electrician are different categories”

A listing filed under electrician brings switchboard calls, and one filed under electrical contractor brings the rewire and the maintenance contract.

  • “A homeowner at nine at night wants to know if you come out”

Saying plainly that you do not take breakdown calls after hours saves a wasted call and an annoyed review afterwards.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Categories and service areas set properly

The primary category matched to contracting work, the localities you actually cover listed, and the office address handled the way your setup needs.

Result: The listing reaches the buyer you want.

  2. Licence class stated in the description

The contractor licence class, the enlistments and the kinds of work you take, written into the listing rather than only onto the site.

Result: You are separated from unlicensed electricians at a glance.

  3. Photographs of panel rooms and finished work

Installations, panel boards, earthing pits and cable routes uploaded from site, replacing the logo most contractor listings still use.

Result: A facility manager sees the standard of work.

  4. Hours and the emergency policy written down

The office hours, the days you work and whether a breakdown call at night is answered, stated as it actually is.

Result: Nobody calls twice at midnight for nothing.

  5. Services listed as buyers ask for them

Rewiring, panel work, earthing, solar, EV charger installation, maintenance contracts and safety audits added as services on the listing.

Result: A homeowner knows you take the job before calling.

  6. Calls and direction requests reported

Calls, direction requests and website taps from the listing, set against the baseline recorded before it was touched.

Result: You can see whether the listing repays the effort.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How a homeowner or facility manager nearby finds an electrical contractor, and what to fix first.

Contractor or electrician
Choose Electrical installation service or Electrician as the category that fits the work you really take. Do not claim engineer or consultant, which brings design queries you do not answer.
Jobs as services
List rewiring, MCB and panel upgrade, earthing, DG changeover, EV charger and apartment maintenance as separate lines. Say what the visit includes. A facility manager scans for the one fault that has been tripping.
Apartment names
Associations search by the complex they live in. Add the apartments and layouts where you hold maintenance work, with the secretary's permission, in the description and on a locality page.
Licence class and the board
State your contractor licence class as it stands, and the licensing board that issued it. Buyers check it before awarding work. Keep the licence holder's name the same on the licence, GST and the listing.
Justdial, Sulekha and licensing board lists
Claim Justdial and Sulekha. If the state electrical licensing board publishes a contractor list, check your entry. A homeowner may find you first on the list or on JustDial, not Maps.
Reviews from secretaries and managers
Ask an association secretary or facility manager after a job, and ask them to name the work, such as a panel replacement. A review that says why you were called says more than a star rating.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We work across the whole city. Should we make a listing for each area?
One listing, with the localities you cover set as its service area. A separate listing at an address you do not hold gets suspended, and the reviews disappear with it. Put the area coverage on your own site instead.
Homeowners find us on JustDial. Is Google worth the effort?
Yes, because facility managers and small commercial buyers start there. JustDial brings volume and a good deal of it is price shopping. Keep both, and make sure the licence class and the phone number match on each.
Can we say 'electrician available now' on the profile?
Only if someone really will come. Show your true hours and describe the call-out policy in a line, such as when you attend after dark. A false claim brings calls you cannot serve and one-star reviews from people who waited.
Customers call for AC repair or inverter service, which we do not do. What can we do?
Say what you do not take in the description and in the questions section, and list only the services you offer. Answer the call politely with a referral if you have one. The calls fade as the profile gets clearer, and so do the poor reviews.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
