HVAC companies · Buyer persona

Know whether the caller is a worried household or a facilities head with a tender.

A buyer persona for an HVAC company is a written description of the people who call you, what they are worried about, who else joins the decision and what they want to see before they agree. GullySales builds these from your own enquiries and past jobs, so your messages, proposals and reminders speak to the right person.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For HVAC companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The household buyer wants a visit date, not a brochure”

A family with a failed AC in a hot room judges the company by who answers and who commits to a visit. Capacity ratings and brand lists matter later. The first message must say a technician will come and when to expect a call.

  • “The facilities head is protecting themselves”

For an office, mall or hospital, the person comparing proposals must justify the choice to a manager. They look for a written response commitment, named equipment, past installations of similar size and clear AMC terms they can place in a file.

  • “The AMC renewer and the new-installation buyer are different people”

A customer renewing a contract wants reliability and no fuss. A first-time buyer of a ducted or VRF system wants advice on sizing and running cost. Writing to both in the same way loses the person who needed the other message.

  • “A builder, an architect or a society committee decides for others”

Some of your biggest jobs are chosen by someone who will not live with the system. They care about handover schedules, a single point of contact and a contractor who will still pick up the phone after the sale.

What we do

What we deliver for HVAC companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Written personas for your real buyer types

Short profiles for the household, the office or facilities head, the society committee and the builder or architect, drawn from your enquiry records and technician notes.

Result: Your team can say who a caller is within the first minute.

  2. A question list for the first call

The few things worth asking at the start of an enquiry, such as type of premises, system in place, urgency and who signs off.

Result: Every enquiry is recorded in the same way.

  3. Message set for each persona

Reply texts, WhatsApp scripts and proposal openings written for each buyer type, in the language that buyer uses.

Result: A reply reads as if written for that caller.

  4. Objection notes for the sales team

The doubts each persona raises, such as cost of running, response time in a breakdown, or whether the contract covers spares, with an honest answer you can give.

Result: Your staff answer the same worry the same way.

  5. Persona tags in your CRM

Each contact tagged with its buyer type, so reminders and offers go to the right group.

Result: You can filter your customer list by buyer type.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can one company have more than one persona?
Yes, and a mixed book of work needs several. A household, a facilities head and a society committee want different things from the same service. Start with the two or three that bring the most enquiries and add others as the records grow.
Where does the information for a persona come from?
From what you already hold: enquiry messages, call notes, past proposals, AMC files and the technicians' own knowledge of who asks what. We do not invent a customer. A persona with no record behind it is left out.
How often should the personas be revisited?
Whenever your mix of work changes, for example when you begin taking commercial tenders or open a new locality. Read them again after each peak season against the enquiries that actually came in.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
