Locksmiths · Sales management

See which calls turned into paid jobs and which were missed.

Sales management for a locksmith means tracking every call, whether it converted to a job, and whether a follow-up upgrade was ever offered, rather than relying on memory.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales management means

Sales management is the ongoing work of reviewing a sales team's pipeline, calls and targets, and stepping in on deals that are stuck. GullySales sets the review rhythm and the reports a sales manager needs to run this without relying on gut feel.

For locksmiths

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Missed calls are the first thing to track”

A manager who cannot see how many calls went unanswered cannot fix the problem losing the most jobs.

  • “Upgrade follow-ups need their own record”

An emergency customer not followed up about a security upgrade is a sale nobody tracked as lost.

  • “Technician performance becomes visible”

A record of who answered, arrived and closed each job removes guesswork from reviewing a small team.

What we do

What we deliver for locksmiths.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A missed call tracking sheet

A simple record of every call, answered or missed, so the manager can see exactly how many jobs are being lost to no answer.

Result: The biggest source of lost jobs stops being invisible.

  2. An upgrade follow-up record

A tracked list of emergency customers who were, or were not, offered a security upgrade afterwards.

Result: A missed upsell shows up as a tracked loss, not a forgotten call.

  3. A per-technician job record

A record of who answered, arrived and closed each job, built from the existing call and job log.

Result: Reviewing a small team stops relying on memory and guesswork.

  4. A shared tracking sheet, upgradeable to a CRM

A shared spreadsheet set up to track calls and jobs, with a straightforward path to a simple CRM once volume grows.

Result: The record grows with the business instead of being rebuilt later.

  5. A performance review with you

A walk-through of missed calls, follow-ups and technician performance against the baseline set at the start.

Result: You see what changed this month, not just a feeling that things improved.

How the result is measured

  • Target achievement
  • Pipeline coverage
  • Stuck deals resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the owner reviews

Read these six things in the call and job log before the day's first job.

Missed calls, especially at night
Check the phone's call history for missed calls. Ring back every missed number the same morning, and when misses cluster late at night, decide who keeps the phone then.
Lockouts quoted, not taken
List callers who asked the price for a lockout or a car key and did not book. Note whether the call-out charge, the distance or the arrival time put them off.
Car key and remote programming requests
Read enquiries for transponder keys and remotes by car model. When a model keeps coming up that you cannot program, decide whether to buy the blanks and software or refer the job.
Upgrade offered after an emergency
Check which lockout and break-in customers were offered a digital lock or a stronger door lock. Message those not yet offered with a photo of a fitted lock and its price.
Society, office and shop jobs
List RWA, office and shop enquiries for master keys, access control or safes. Each needs a named contact and a site visit date, since a loose promise to call is not a lead.
Phone quote against the bill on site
Compare the price quoted on the phone with what was charged on site. An extra the customer did not expect starts a bad review, so the technician should explain extras before starting.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales management work runs

  1. 1

    Assess current management practice

We look at what cadence, if any, currently exists and where it breaks down.

  2. 2

    Set the rhythm

The touchpoints are agreed and scheduled in writing before the first review.

  3. 3

    Run or coach the cadence

We either run the reviews and one-on-ones directly, or coach your manager to run them.

  4. 4

    Address performance directly

Issues are raised as they appear, not left until a review period.

  5. 5

    Report to the owner

A summary keeps ownership informed without needing to sit in every review.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need software for a small team?
A shared sheet works well at first; a simple CRM helps once call volume grows.
Who should review this?
Whoever manages the technicians, checking weekly for missed calls and pending follow-ups.
I work with a couple of helpers. Do we really need a review?
Not a meeting, but a short look at the call log and job book together before the first job of the day. Go through missed calls, quotes not taken and upgrades not offered. A few minutes with the helpers over the phone list is enough.
How do I set a target for a technician when emergency calls come at random?
Do not target the number of calls, which nobody controls. Target what the technician does with each one: answering, arriving when promised, quoting before starting and offering the upgrade. Count these from your own job book and raise the bar a little at a time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
