Locksmiths · Sales process

A fixed set of steps from the call to a paid, completed job.

A sales process for a locksmith is the fixed steps between a call and a paid job: confirming arrival time, quoting on site, and offering a relevant upgrade afterwards.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales process means

A sales process is the fixed sequence of steps, such as enquiry, site visit, quote and order, that every deal is expected to pass through in the same order. GullySales writes this sequence down for your business and checks that every salesperson actually follows it.

For locksmiths

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Arrival time is confirmed on the call”

Stating a clear window when the call comes in avoids the frustration an open-ended promise creates.

  • “On-site quoting follows a consistent structure”

A technician trained to explain cost before starting work avoids disputes once the job is done.

  • “The upgrade offer is a single, brief step”

Right after a lockout is fixed, one mention of a digital lock upgrade, not a sales pitch.

What we do

What we deliver for locksmiths.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A call script confirming arrival time

A short script for stating a clear arrival window as soon as the call comes in, before any other detail is discussed.

Result: A customer stops wondering how long the wait will be.

  2. An on-site quoting checklist

A simple checklist for explaining cost before starting work, covering parts, labour and any call-out charge.

Result: Fewer jobs end in a dispute over price.

  3. A one-line upgrade offer script

A single, brief line offered right after a lockout is fixed, mentioning a digital lock or security upgrade without turning into a pitch.

Result: The upgrade gets mentioned every time, without feeling pushed.

  4. A step-by-step process card for technicians

A printed or saved card walking a technician through the call, arrival, quote and upgrade steps in order.

Result: A new or junior technician follows the same process from day one.

How the result is measured

  • Deals following the process
  • Time spent at each step
  • Drop-off rate by step

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Steps of a sale

Take a lockout or a digital lock enquiry from the call to a paid, finished job in the same order.

Call and location
Ask what is locked, the door or lock type, the exact address and a landmark. Write the caller's name on the job sheet before setting off.
Proof of ownership
Before opening a house, car or safe, ask for ID showing the address, the RC for a car, or confirmation from a neighbour or the society guard. Note what was shown on the job sheet.
Call-out charge and work price
Say the call-out charge on the phone and the work price at the door, before touching the lock. Record both on the job sheet with the customer's yes.
The job and the old lock
Show the customer whether the lock was opened without damage or had to be drilled, and hand back the old cylinder. Note the lock brand and model for any later call.
Payment and receipt
Take UPI or cash and send a receipt on WhatsApp listing the work done and any warranty on a new lock. Record the payment mode on the job sheet.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales process work runs

  1. 1

    Study current deal flow

We trace how deals actually move today, comparing across reps and outcomes.

  2. 2

    Define the stages

Clear stages and criteria are designed to match how deals genuinely progress and close.

  3. 3

    Configure the CRM

The process is built into your CRM so it is enforced structurally, not just documented.

  4. 4

    Train the team

Reps are trained on the new process and why each stage exists.

  5. 5

    Review adoption

We check after rollout whether the process is being followed and adjust where it is not.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can one technician run this alone?
Yes, it works as a short checklist for the call, the arrival and the follow-up.
How do we handle price disputes on site?
A clear quote given before starting work, confirmed verbally, prevents most disputes.
Should we tell a caller the full price on the phone before seeing the lock?
Tell them the call-out charge and a range for the likely job, and say the final price comes after you see the lock. A single figure on the phone becomes a dispute when the lock turns out to be a different type. Write the range you gave on the job sheet.
What should we write down after each job?
The address, lock type and brand, what was done, the price and the ID or proof you saw. It protects you if a neighbour or the police ask later, and it shows which locks and areas bring the most calls. A notebook or a shared sheet is enough.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
