Painters · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a family two streets away searches for a painter.

Local SEO for a painter is the work of appearing in the map results when someone near the flat searches for painters. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the service area and the reviews that decide which three names show.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For painters

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A painter has no shopfront, so the service area is the listing”

A customer cannot walk in, so the profile must say clearly which localities the crew visits. A profile with a pin at home and no area gets passed over for one that names the societies and roads served.

  • “Reviews that name the finish carry weight”

A review saying the floors were covered and the crew cleaned up answers the fear of every nervous customer. A bare five-star line says little. The ask should point the customer to mention what they noticed about the work.

  • “Photographs decide the tap”

A painter's profile is judged by pictures of finished walls. Dark phone photos of half-done rooms lose to a clear set of before-and-after images in good light. Each photo needs no address or nameplate in frame.

  • “Dealer counters send people to the map”

A buyer at a paint shop who is told to look up a painter nearby goes straight to Maps. If the shop does not know your name, the buyer finds someone else. The listing and the dealer relationship feed each other.

What we do

What we deliver for painters.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified profile with real service areas

The profile set up with the right job types, the localities served and honest working hours.

Result: The profile lists the areas you actually work in.

  2. A photograph set for the profile

Finished interiors, exteriors and textures shot in daylight, with the brand and finish noted in the caption.

Result: The profile shows work, not a logo.

  3. A review request routine

A card or message handed over when the final walk-through is done, with the review link ready.

Result: Recent reviews come from customers whose work you finished.

  4. Replies to every review

Written replies that deal with complaints about delay or finish in plain words.

Result: A hesitant reader sees the problem answered in public.

  5. Directory entries that match

The same name, phone and area on the other directories a customer might check.

Result: The business reads the same everywhere it appears.

  6. Call and direction counts

The listing's own call and direction numbers recorded before the work and checked afterwards.

Result: You can see whether the profile brought calls.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these painters.

  • Independent house and flat painters
  • Painting crews led by a contractor with a team of four to ten
  • Interior wall finish specialists for putty, texture and designs
  • Exterior and weatherproof coating painters
  • Wood polish, door and grill painters
  • Painters working through a paint brand's programme
  • Rental flat turnover painters for landlords and property managers
  • Shop and showroom repaint teams

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

I work from home. Should I show my address?
Hide it if you do not receive customers there, and set the service area instead. Check the platform's current rules on home-based businesses.
What if a competitor posts false reviews?
Report them through the platform and reply calmly. Do not offer anything in return for removal or for good reviews.
Does a bigger service area rank better?
No. A very wide area weakens the profile near you. List the localities you will actually drive to for a job.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
