Roofing contractors · Lead generation

A phone enquiry for a roof is lost in the first day it goes unanswered.

Lead generation for a roofing contractor is answering the call and the WhatsApp message, booking the site visit and chasing every quotation that goes quiet. GullySales writes the enquiry routine and the follow-up schedule, and builds the builder and architect work that fills the dry months.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Enquiries arrive by phone while the crew is on a roof”

The owner rings, nobody answers, and the next number on the list gets the site visit. A saved reply and a call-back routine keep that enquiry alive.

  • “A quotation goes quiet before a decision is made”

A factory owner waits for a budget or a partner to agree. A scheduled call over the following weeks decides who is chosen when the money is released.

  • “Builders and architects bring repeat work”

A builder who has trusted one roofer on a project calls the same firm for the next one. That relationship is built before the tender, not during it.

What we do

What we deliver for roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An enquiry routine for calls and WhatsApp

Who answers, who books site visits, the first message sent back and the hours our team covers call-backs, agreed with you in writing.

Result: Enquiries turn into site visits instead of missed calls.

  2. A site visit sheet that gets the facts

Roof area, height, building use, existing sheet, access and the shutdown or monsoon deadline, collected at the visit.

Result: The quotation is built on measurements, not guesses.

  3. A quotation that explains the roof

The sheet type and thickness, the structure, insulation, fixing and what is excluded, set out in plain lines the owner can compare.

Result: The buyer has something to weigh beyond a rate.

  4. Every quotation followed up

A call and a WhatsApp message on a written schedule, with notes on who decides and when the budget is released.

Result: Quotes that went quiet get a second and third conversation.

  5. Builder and architect outreach

A list of builders, architects and PEB consultants in your cities, a one-page capability sheet and a record of who sent which job.

Result: Work arrives before the tender, not at it.

  6. A tracker from enquiry to job

Source, site visit, quotation and decision for every enquiry in one sheet, set against the baseline.

Result: The next marketing rupee goes where jobs came from.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Where a roofing job starts, and what to record before the crew goes to the site.

Phone calls from Google and JustDial
Record the number, the source and the roof type on every call. Most owners ring two or three roofers in a day, so the first who answers and asks for a photograph is ahead.
WhatsApp messages with photographs
Reply with the area, the building use and the sheet now fitted. Save the photographs against the enquiry, since they decide whether a visit is worth the travel.
Referrals from builders and architects
Record who sent the job and what they were building. A builder who sends two roofs a year is worth a call before every season.
Sheet dealer and manufacturer referrals
Ask the dealer to pass on roofing enquiries they cannot serve. Record each one with its source so you can see whether the relationship pays.
Repeat owners and their neighbours
A factory owner in an industrial estate knows the unit next door. Ask for the introduction once the roof is finished and the owner is satisfied.
Site boards and vehicle branding
A board on the shed under construction and the name on your trucks generate calls. Put a distinct number on each so they can be counted.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long should we chase a quotation?
Until the buyer says yes or no. A written schedule of calls and WhatsApp messages over the weeks after the quote keeps it live. Stop when the owner asks you to, and record that.
Should we buy leads from lead-selling sites?
Test with a small spend and tag every lead with its source. A shared lead goes to several roofers, so you are racing to the phone. Compare the cost of each signed job with referral work before spending more.
What counts as a qualified roofing enquiry?
A building owner or a site contact, a location you cover, a roof type you install and a yes to a site visit. Callers wanting one sheet, or a job in a city you do not serve, are answered politely and kept out of the pipeline.
How do we handle enquiries that arrive at night or on Sunday?
Set a first reply on WhatsApp that thanks the sender, asks for the area, the building use and a photograph, and says when the team will call. Then do call at that time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
