Roofing contractors · Reputation management

A roof is judged in the first monsoon, and the review is written after it.

Reputation management for a roofing contractor is asking for reviews at handover, answering every one and showing finished roofs that held through a season. GullySales sets up the request, the replies and the proof pages, and leaves what a customer writes in the customer's hands.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The review that matters is written after the rains”

A shed that stayed dry through July earns a better review in August than it did on handover day. Ask twice: at handover and after the first monsoon.

  • “A leak complaint answered well is a good review for the next buyer”

Owners read the worst review and the reply. A reply that names the site, the cause and the visit made shows how you behave when something goes wrong.

  • “Factory owners ask for a reference, not a star rating”

A plant manager will phone a past customer. A list of three sites that have agreed to take that call is worth more than another five stars.

What we do

What we deliver for roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review request at handover and after the monsoon

A WhatsApp message with a one-tap link, sent when the roof is finished and again once the first rains have passed.

Result: Reviews describe a roof that held.

  2. A reply to every review

A written reply to each review in a plain voice, including the critical ones, naming the site and what was done.

Result: A buyer reads how you behave under complaint.

  3. A leak call procedure

Who takes the call, who visits, what is recorded and how the owner is told the cause.

Result: A complaint is handled before it reaches Google.

  4. A reference list of consenting customers

Three to five owners who have agreed to be called, grouped by building type, with the project in one line.

Result: A plant manager can check you by phone.

  5. Case pages with photographs after a season

Finished roofs revisited after the rains, with the owner's agreement, shown by building type.

Result: Proof that a roof lasted, not that it was finished.

  6. A report on reviews and complaints

New reviews, average rating, replies sent and complaint calls, set against the baseline.

Result: You can see whether the reputation is moving.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to answer each kind of review a roofing company gets.

A five-star review for a new shed
Thank the writer by name and mention the job. A reply to a good review is read by the next buyer as proof that someone is watching.
A review praising the crew
Share it with the crew and thank the person named. A crew that hears the praise handles the next site better.
A review about a leak after the first rain
Reply the same day with a visit offered, a direct number and an apology if it is due. Follow with a line once the cause has been found and fixed.
A review about a delay
Say what caused the delay without excuses and what will change. Owners forgive a late roof more readily than silence.
A review complaining about the quotation
Offer to walk through the lines of the quotation by phone. Do not argue the price in public.
A review that appears to be from a competitor
Report it through the platform and reply politely stating you cannot find the site. Keep the evidence for any follow-up.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

When should we ask for a review?
At handover, when the owner has seen the finished roof, and again after the first monsoon with a photograph of the dry shed. Send the link by WhatsApp and make it one tap.
How should we reply to a review about a leak?
Thank the writer, name the site, say you have booked a visit and give a direct number. After the visit, add a line saying what was found. Do not argue about the cause in public.
Can we offer a discount for a review?
No. Incentivised reviews breach the platforms' rules and read as bought. Ask plainly, make it easy and reply to every one.
What should we do about a fake or unfair review?
Report it through the platform with the reason, and reply calmly in case it stays. Never post a fake review of a competitor or ask staff to write for you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
