Waterproofing and roofing contractors · Pay per click advertising

Spend in February and March, when the terrace is still dry.

Paid search for a waterproofing or roofing contractor buys the searches an owner makes when a stain appears, and the pre-monsoon ones that arrive while a terrace is dry. GullySales moves the money into the months you can work, and counts inspections rather than clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For waterproofing and roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The July click costs most and converts worst”

Every contractor bids in the rain, and you cannot take the job anyway. The same money buys two inspections in March.

  • “A rate question needs a different advertisement from a leak”

Somebody typing waterproofing cost per sqft wants a number. Somebody typing terrace leaking urgently wants a person on the roof tomorrow.

  • “Say in the advertisement which job you refuse”

Stating that you do not do single-coat patch work filters out the caller who is ringing five numbers for the lowest rate.

What we do

What we deliver for waterproofing and roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The budget moved into the dry months

Money raised from February to May and again in September, held low through the weeks your crews cannot take another job.

Result: You buy the enquiry you can actually serve.

  2. Separate campaigns for leaks, rates and factory roofing

An emergency leak campaign, a cost-research campaign and a factory re-roofing campaign, each with its own budget and landing page.

Result: A homeowner's click cannot spend the factory money.

  3. A landing page that books an inspection slot

A page matching the advertisement, asking for photographs of the stain, the floor it is on, the age of the building and a preferred day.

Result: The call opens with pictures already in hand.

  4. Negative keywords against materials and coursework

Blocks on cement rate, chemical price, waterproofing dealer, applicator training and job vacancy, checked against the search terms report.

Result: Your budget stops paying for people buying a tin.

  5. Localities chosen by the age of the buildings

Targeting set to areas of older independent houses, ageing apartment stock and terraces last treated a decade ago.

Result: Money goes where the terraces are due.

  6. Spend reported against inspections and jobs

Cost per call, per inspection and per job won, split by campaign and by month, read against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can see what a booked terrace costs to win.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for as a waterproofing contractor, and the ones to keep out.

Terrace leakage searches, such as terrace waterproofing contractor
Bid, and raise the budget before the rains. An owner who has seen a stain wants an inspection. Ask for the floor, the building's age and a photograph of the stain, on the page.
Bathroom and wall seepage searches, such as bathroom leakage repair
Bid only if the job is large enough for you to take. These searchers want a small repair done cheaply, and you will pay for each click. Set a minimum job on the page.
Basement and podium searches, such as basement waterproofing contractor
Bid in a separate campaign aimed at builders and societies. These jobs are bigger and are decided by a committee or an engineer, so the page should show your method and past sites.
Metal roofing and shed searches, such as metal roof contractor for factory
Bid separately, with a page for the shed or roof type and the area. Factory and warehouse buyers want a quotation on a drawing, so ask for the dimensions.
Do-it-yourself searches, such as how to waterproof terrace at home
Block. People trying a tin of coating will not hire a contractor. If you want them, send them to a guide, never to the call advert.
Where the click lands and what counts
Send the click to a page for that kind of leak. Count a booked inspection or a call with photographs. Log calls that only ask the cost per square foot as price checks, not enquiries.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we advertise during the monsoon at all?
A little, to stay visible and to book September work, but not at July prices. Your crews are full and the surface is wet, so most of those jobs become a patch. Move the budget forward to February and March.
What should a waterproofing advertisement ask for?
An inspection, not a quotation. Nobody can price a terrace over the phone, and a caller who agrees to an inspection is already halfway to a job. The landing page books a slot and collects photographs of the problem.
Should the advert mention a warranty period?
Say only what your written warranty says, and put the conditions on the page. A period stated in an advert that your paperwork does not match causes disputes later. Do not state a period you have not written down.
Can we use a chemical brand's name in our advert as an approved applicator?
Only if the brand has appointed you, and after checking its rules for advertising its name. If you are approved, say so on the page, with the products you apply. Otherwise leave the brand name out of the wording.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
