Home and office automation · Search engine optimisation

Rank for smart home automation in your city before the buyer even reaches an architect.

SEO for home and office automation means ranking for searches such as smart home automation company or home theatre installation in your city. It captures the buyer who starts researching directly rather than through a referral. GullySales builds pages by service and project type and fixes technical issues keeping the site out of search results.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For home and office automation

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Service-specific pages beat one general automation page”

A dedicated page for smart lighting, another for home theatre and another for security integration each ranks for its own specific search. One page covering everything ranks for none as strongly.

  • “Project pages double as ranking content and portfolio”

A detailed page about a completed villa project both targets local search terms and gives a researching buyer the proof they are looking for.

  • “Office automation searches need entirely separate pages from residential ones”

A facilities head searching for boardroom automation uses different terms and wants different proof from a homeowner, so the two should not share a page.

What we do

What we deliver for home and office automation.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Separate page for each automation service

Individual pages for smart lighting, home theatre, security integration and other services, instead of one page covering everything.

Result: Each service ranks for its own specific search, not one crowded page.

  2. Project pages built for both search and proof

Detailed pages on completed projects that target local search terms while also giving a researching buyer proof of the work.

Result: A page ranks and convinces at the same time.

  3. Separate residential and office automation pages

Distinct pages for boardroom and office searches, since a facilities head searches and needs proof differently from a homeowner.

Result: Each buyer type lands on a page speaking to their own decision.

  4. Technical fixes for pages holding rankings back

The slow pages, broken links or missing detail holding the site back, identified and corrected.

Result: The site stops losing rank to problems that have nothing to do with the work.

  5. Ranking and enquiry report

Rankings and search enquiries reported against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You see which pages are actually bringing enquiries in.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What an owner or an architect types when planning a smart home or office, and the page that answers it.

smart home automation cost for a 3BHK
A cost page. Explain what the figure depends on: rooms, number of switches, wireless or wired, new build or retrofit and the make. Show how a quote is built.
KNX or Zigbee home automation
A comparison page. Describe in plain words how the two differ in wiring, upkeep and choice of devices, and which you install and why.
motorised curtains for living room
A page for the product. Show the track and motor types, how they connect to the rest of the home, and what a site visit measures.
boardroom AV and video conferencing setup
An office page. List the equipment you fit, such as displays, microphones and cameras, how it is controlled and what the client's IT team has to agree.
home theatre room in a villa
A page for the room. Cover the room size, acoustic treatment, projector or screen choice and the wiring planned at the construction stage.
smart home automation showroom in Hyderabad
A showroom page. Give the address, hours, what can be demonstrated and how to book a visit, with a short video of a finished home.

Who it is for

This is written for these home and office automation.

  • Residential smart-home integrators
  • Office and boardroom automation specialists
  • Villa and apartment builder tie-up specialists
  • Security and CCTV integration specialists
  • Home theatre and AV specialists
  • Motorised curtain and gate automation specialists

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no project pages with photographs, so a search visitor would reach a list of products and nothing to compare.
  • Most of your orders come through architects who do not search for you, and the first search would reach buyers without a reference.
  • You want orders next month, but a smart-home page earns trust over a long buying cycle.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which pages move first?
The specific service and locality pages, well before broad city-level terms. We do not promise a ranking date, because search engines decide that and we do not.
Does SEO matter if most of our business is referral-based?
Yes, it captures the buyers who never reach an architect, and it also reassures a referred buyer who searches your name before calling.
Should we publish photographs of finished homes?
Only with the owner's written consent, and without the address or any security details. Show the rooms and the control screens, not the house number. A buyer is reassured by the work, and the owner's privacy is not at risk.
Should the site favour one brand or stay neutral?
Say which systems you install and be honest about what each does well. A buyer wants to know why you recommend a brand, and an architect checks whether you are tied to one. Neutral claims you cannot support lose trust.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
