Family restaurants · WhatsApp marketing

Take the table booking where the family already talks: WhatsApp.

WhatsApp marketing for a family restaurant means using the Business app to take group bookings, send menus and keep a consented list of local households. GullySales works on the catalogue, the replies and the list, and leaves the platform's own rules to be checked.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For family restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The family decides inside a WhatsApp group”

The restaurant is discussed in a relatives' group before it is ever searched. A forwardable message, a clear menu image and a pinned location make it easy for one member to answer the group in a single tap.

  • “Typing the same reply forty times is a waste”

Staff answer parking, timing and booking queries again and again. Quick replies saved in the Business app give the same clear answer each time and free the person at the counter to serve the table.

  • “A broadcast list needs permission first”

Sending festival menus to numbers that never agreed brings complaints and blocks. A list built from families who said yes at the table is smaller and kinder, and those households actually read what arrives. Keep the date and the wording of each yes on file.

  • “The catalogue is skipped”

The Business app lets a restaurant show the thali, the family combo and the celebration set menu with prices. Without it, every enquiry begins with a request for the menu, and the planner waits for a photograph to arrive.

What we do

What we deliver for family restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business profile set for families

Name, address, hours, location pin and a short description stating parking, access and the family area.

Result: The profile answers the first questions before any chat.

  2. Quick replies for the common questions

Saved replies for booking a large table, parking, children's food, cake rules and the weekday thali.

Result: Staff answer the usual questions in one tap.

  3. A catalogue of set menus

The thali, the family combination and the celebration lunch shown with clear photographs and plain prices.

Result: A planner can browse without asking.

  4. An opt-in list for local households

A list built from families who agreed at billing, with a record of the date and the wording used.

Result: Everyone on the list has said yes.

  5. A booking reply that confirms

A reply format giving the date, the time, the number and the contact, ready to send after a call.

Result: The call is followed by a written confirmation.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not for a single restaurant. The Business app covers catalogue, labels and quick replies. Check the platform's current rules before considering anything larger, and use it only if volume demands.
How do we get families to join the list?
Ask at billing, explain what they will receive and let them say no. A printed card with a code or number also works. Never add anyone without a clear yes.
What should we send on the list?
Only things a household values: the weekday thali, a festival menu, a change in hours and a note about a booking. Avoid constant offers that turn a friendly list into noise.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
