Ice cream parlours · Digital marketing

Spend on the few channels that put a family at the counter or a tub order in the diary.

Digital marketing for an ice cream parlour is choosing which online channels bring people to the shop, the tub order and the franchise desk, and dropping the ones that do not. GullySales plans the mix around your seasons.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For ice cream parlours

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel does a different job”

Maps brings the evening walk-in. Instagram brings the teenager. WhatsApp brings the party order. Search brings the cake buyer. Treating them all as one spend hides which one is working.

  • “Summer spend does not suit winter”

A budget spread evenly across the year pays for ads in January that nobody answers. A plan that raises effort before the hot weeks and shifts to warm desserts and party bookings in the cold months uses money better.

  • “Likes are not footfall”

A page full of reactions can still have an empty seating area. The numbers worth watching are calls, direction requests, booked orders and franchise enquiries.

  • “Delivery apps carry their own costs and risks”

Listing on an app brings orders and a commission, and a melted tub brings a poor rating. The decision depends on the distance the product travels well, not on the count of orders.

What we do

What we deliver for ice cream parlours.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A yearly channel plan

A plan showing what each channel does in the hot weeks, the festivals and the cold months.

Result: The shop knows where effort goes in each season.

  2. A tracking setup

Calls, direction taps, form entries and WhatsApp clicks recorded against the channel that sent them.

Result: You can see which channel sent the last booking.

  3. A small paid trial

One or two local ads aimed at a named offer near the shop, with a clear stop point.

Result: An ad either sent enquiries or it did not, and you can see which.

  4. A delivery decision sheet

A written view on app delivery covering radius, packaging, commission and complaint handling.

Result: The delivery choice is made from your own costs.

  5. A review of what to stop

A list of activities that bring nothing, so effort can move elsewhere.

Result: The plan includes things you will no longer do.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should a parlour spend?
We do not set a figure for you, because it depends on your margin and your seasons. We help you pick a sum you can afford to lose while the tracking shows what works.
Is a website necessary?
Yes, a small one. It holds the menu, the tub guide and the order route, and it gives the listing and the ads somewhere to send people.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
