Lodges · Content marketing

Write the town guide a first-time visitor wishes they had before the journey.

Content marketing for a lodge is the practice of writing useful pages and posts about the town, the temple, the market or the hospital, so a planner finds the lodge while reading something helpful. GullySales works on the topics, the plain writing and where each piece is shared.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For lodges

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor has a long list of questions”

How far is the temple, when does it open, where do buses stop, where can a group park. A lodge that answers these in writing becomes the first name a planner remembers.

  • “Local knowledge is the lodge's advantage”

The owner and counter staff know which lane floods, which hour is crowded and which eatery suits a family. Aggregator sites do not have that, and visitors value it.

  • “Writing must be short and in the visitor's language”

A long essay is not read on a phone at a bus stand. Short pages in the language the visitor speaks, with a rate and a number at the end, are the ones that get used.

  • “Old content goes stale”

Temple timings, fares and festival dates change. A guide that is wrong sends visitors to a locked gate and sends their anger to the lodge, so each piece needs a date and a person who checks it.

What we do

What we deliver for lodges.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of topics from real questions

Questions taken from your counter, your WhatsApp messages and your reviews, turned into a list of pages to write.

Result: A topic list built from what guests have asked you.

  2. A town and temple visitor guide

A plain page covering how to reach the town, where to stay, when to visit and what to carry.

Result: A page you can send to a group organiser on WhatsApp.

  3. A page for each type of guest

Separate short pages for families, groups, traders and patients' attendants.

Result: Each guest type has a page that speaks to that need.

  4. A festival and season notice template

A reusable notice for each local festival, with dates, room availability and booking number.

Result: The notice is ready to edit when dates are fixed.

  5. A check on facts before posting

A short routine to verify timings and distances with the owner or local staff.

Result: Every guide carries a checked date.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is a blog worth it for a lodge?
A small set of well-chosen pages is worth it. Ten pages that answer real questions do more than fifty generic ones. We start with the questions your counter already hears.
Who writes the content?
We write and edit it, using what the owner and staff tell us about the town. You read and correct every piece before it goes out, because you know the lanes and the timings.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
