Multicuisine restaurants · Search engine optimisation

Get found for butter chicken and hakka noodles, not just your own name.

SEO for a multicuisine restaurant is the work of appearing when a diner searches for a dish, a cuisine or an occasion rather than for you by name. GullySales builds pages and signals that tie each dish your kitchen is good at to your restaurant.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For multicuisine restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A search for a dish goes to a page that names it”

Someone typing a dish and a neighbourhood lands on a restaurant that has a page, a photograph and reviews for that dish. A restaurant that lists everything on a single menu image gives search nothing to read.

  • “Specialists out-rank the generalist on single words”

A biryani house will beat you for biryani. The way through is combinations that a specialist cannot own: family lunch with Indian and Chinese, veg and non-veg under one roof, or a table for a mixed group.

  • “A menu locked in a picture is invisible”

Some restaurants publish the menu as a photograph or PDF scan. Search cannot read dishes from a picture, so the dishes you want to be known for never appear as words on any page.

  • “Reviews carry the dish names for you”

When guests write that the tandoori platter was the reason for the visit, those words feed the search. A reply that repeats the dish name, kindly and naturally, adds to what the listing is understood to be about.

What we do

What we deliver for multicuisine restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A dish and cuisine page plan

A short list of the dishes and cuisines your sales records show you do well, each mapped to one page on your site.

Result: You hold a written plan of which page answers which search.

  2. Menu pages written as text

Your menu as readable pages with dish names, descriptions and dietary notes, in place of an image or scan.

Result: Each priority dish appears as words on your site.

  3. Occasion pages

Pages for the family lunch, the office get-together and the celebration table, each linking to the right dishes and the booking path.

Result: A search for an occasion has a page to land on.

  4. Titles and descriptions that match searches

Page titles and short descriptions rewritten in the words diners use, with your area named.

Result: Search results show your dishes rather than a bare name.

  5. Linking between dishes, reviews and the listing

The website, Maps profile and delivery profile pointed at each other with the same name, address and phone.

Result: The three places agree and read as one restaurant.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we rank for biryani if a specialist is nearby?
Not by repeating the same word. We look for the searches where your mix is the answer, and build pages for those, while the dishes you cook best get their own pages and photographs.
How do we know SEO is working?
We record where you stand before the work and read the search tool's own counts of impressions and clicks afterwards. We do not promise a position, only what is measured against that start.
Does the delivery app count for search?
The app is another place a diner finds you, and it ranks by its own rules. Your site and Maps listing are the pieces you control, so SEO work goes there and the app listing is kept consistent.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
