Regional cuisine restaurants · WhatsApp marketing

Reach the community where they already forward the festival menu: on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp marketing for a regional cuisine restaurant means a business number, a menu catalogue and an opted-in list that carries festival menus, bookings and group enquiries. GullySales sets up the number, the messages and the rules for who is contacted and when.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For regional cuisine restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The community is already in a group”

Regional associations, hostel floors and apartment blocks share food news in WhatsApp groups. A menu with a clear price forwarded there reaches more of your people than a paid advertisement, if it is a menu worth forwarding.

  • “A business number separates restaurant from family”

Bookings arriving on the owner's personal number get lost among family messages. A business number with a catalogue, a greeting and set hours gives the committee secretary a place to ask and a record for you.

  • “Broadcasts to people who did not ask damage the number”

A festival menu sent to a bought list gets blocked and reported, and the number may be restricted. A list built from guests who said yes can hold the same menu without harm.

  • “The catalogue replaces the photographed menu card”

A card sent as a blurry photograph is not searchable and cannot be updated. A catalogue lists each dish with a photograph, a price and a line of English, and changes in one place.

What we do

What we deliver for regional cuisine restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business number and greeting

A WhatsApp Business number with a profile, a greeting, away message and quick replies for the common questions.

Result: The number answers with the right greeting at any hour.

  2. Menu catalogue

Signature dishes, thali, festival menu and group menu entered as a catalogue with prices and photographs.

Result: Guests can browse the menu on their phone.

  3. Opt-in list and consent record

A way for guests to agree at the table, on the website or by message, with the date recorded.

Result: Every number on the list has a recorded yes.

  4. Festival broadcast drafts

Menu and booking messages for each festival, written ahead, sent only to the opted-in list.

Result: The festival message is ready before the festival.

  5. Group enquiry flow

A set reply for associations with the group menu and a person to call.

Result: A committee's question gets the menu and a contact at once.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we add guests to a broadcast list from their visiting cards?
Only if they agreed. A business card is not consent to receive offers. Ask at the table and record the yes. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before you send.
Should we join regional community groups ourselves?
Join if the group welcomes it, and do not post offers unasked. Better, share the menu through a member who is already there, or answer when someone asks where to eat.
Is the WhatsApp Business app enough or do we need the API?
The app is enough for a single outlet with a small list. The API with a provider is for larger volumes and automation. We start with the app and move only when the work needs it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
