Corporate catering companies · Lead generation

Tell a seminar lunch from a cafeteria review before you decide how to answer.

Lead generation for a corporate catering company is getting offices to ask for a tasting or a quote, through calls, WhatsApp, directories, vendor-portal invitations and introductions from other offices. GullySales records every source and sets the first reply for each, so you can see which enquiries became contracts and which stayed one-day lunches.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For corporate catering companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A vendor-portal invitation is a lead that looks like paperwork”

A company's supplier portal invites you to register. Nobody treats it as a sales enquiry, so the form sits half filled and the panel never sees your menu.

  • “A one-day lunch and a contract arrive as the same message”

Answer a contract enquiry with a rate card and the buyer never meets your kitchen. Answer a one-day lunch with a kitchen tour and you lose a day for nothing.

  • “The enquiry arrives from the person who cannot decide”

An office assistant asks on behalf of the admin head. The record carries the name of whoever messaged, so the follow-up goes to the wrong desk.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate catering companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A source list for every office enquiry

Call, WhatsApp, JustDial, IndiaMART, website form, vendor portal, referral from another office and card collected at a vendor meet, all entered under one company name.

Result: You see which source fills the contract list, not only the enquiry list.

  2. A contract-or-event question at the first reply

One short question that sorts a daily-meal enquiry from a one-day event, with a different next step written for each.

Result: Each buyer gets the reply that fits what she is buying.

  3. A first reply for each source

A written opening for a phone call, a WhatsApp message, a directory query and a portal invitation, each asking for headcount, meal type and who approves.

Result: The first reply asks what you need to quote.

  4. A vendor-portal and RFP watch list

Registration invitations and quotation requests from company procurement teams, with the last date, the papers asked for and the person who gathers them.

Result: No invitation lapses because nobody owned it.

  5. An outreach list of offices on your route

Buildings and parks within your delivery reach, with the admin or facilities role named, built from your own drivers' sightings and public listings, not bought.

Result: Outreach goes to offices your kitchen can serve.

  6. Report by source

Enquiries, tastings, contracts and event bookings by source, against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: Your effort moves to the sources that bring contracts.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Where a corporate caterer's enquiries arrive, what to write down and how to reply.

Phone call from an admin or HR person
Write the company, building, caller, whether it is daily meals or an event, the headcount and who approves. Offer a tasting date before ending the call.
WhatsApp message to the sales number
Save it under the company name, not only the phone name. Reply by asking whether it is daily meals or one event, and for headcount, date and venue.
JustDial or IndiaMART query
Several caterers got it. Answer with your menu cycle for that meal and say what the buyer must send for a quote, rather than a general brochure.
Vendor-portal invitation or RFP
Note the portal, the last date for registration and the papers asked for. Decide at once whether to respond, and name who gathers the licence, GST and bank details.
Introduction from another office or vendor
Record who introduced you and tell them you were contacted. The buyer has already heard something good, so offer a tasting for the people who will eat.
Card collected at a vendor meet or park event
Enter the details with what the person said she needed, and send the one-page menu cycle with a tasting offer. A stack of cards in a drawer is not a lead list.

Who it is for

This is written for these corporate catering companies.

  • Cafeteria and canteen operators for offices
  • Daily lunch-box and tiffin suppliers to companies
  • Conference, seminar and offsite caterers
  • Boxed-meal caterers for training programmes and client visits
  • Night-shift and late-working meal suppliers
  • Caterers to co-working spaces and managed offices
  • Pantry, tea, coffee and snack suppliers for offices

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we buy a database of HR and admin heads?
Bought lists carry people who have left and numbers that never agreed to hear from you, and the rules on calling and messaging apply. Build your own from offices on your route and past event clients, and take advice on consent.
What counts as a qualified office enquiry?
An office within your delivery reach, a headcount your kitchen can cook for, a named person who can approve a tasting and a meal type you serve. If one is missing it is a question for the next call, not a reason to drop the enquiry.
The same company asks through HR, the admin head and a vendor portal. What do we do?
Keep one record for the company and add each contact and source to it. Whoever replies first quotes and the others note it and stop. Two different quotes to one office look careless.
Does a stall or tasting at a business park event count?
Yes, if every visitor's name, company and need is written down on the spot. A tasting that ends without details is a free lunch. Check the park's own rules on stalls and sampling before you book.
Do offices really pick a caterer from a Google search?
For event lunches and small daily orders, often yes. For a large cafeteria contract, search only starts the shortlist; the tasting, the kitchen visit and a word from another office decide it. So your page and Business Profile have to hold up when an admin head checks you after someone recommends you.
Should we chase the big business parks or small offices first?
Start with offices your kitchen can reach on time at lunch hour, whatever their size. One working contract in a building is the best introduction to the floors above and below it. A very large cafeteria tender can wait until your kitchen and staff have the room to carry it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
