Corporate catering companies · WhatsApp marketing

Keep the headcount, the menu change and the complaint on a number the company owns.

WhatsApp marketing for a corporate catering company is using a business number to send permitted menu cycles, headcount confirmations, event quotes and service notes to the people at an office who deal with you. GullySales sets up the opt-in record, the business profile, the templates and a person who answers, so the channel serves the contract and not only a broadcast.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For corporate catering companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The contract already runs on WhatsApp, on a personal number”

The office assistant messages your supervisor the day's headcount. When the supervisor leaves, the number and the whole history leave with him.

  • “A group with the whole office in it is not a business channel”

A group that adds every employee shares phone numbers and invites every reply. A complaint about the dal becomes a thread the whole floor reads.

  • “A menu sent as a photo cannot be corrected”

A photographed menu card is forwarded for weeks and the correction never catches up. A message with the date and the menu from a business number can be replaced.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate catering companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile that shows the company

A WhatsApp Business profile with your name, kitchen address, hours and a short description, on a number registered to the company.

Result: A buyer messaging you sees a business, not a personal phone.

  2. An opt-in record for each contact

The person, the company, the number, the date and what they agreed to hear about, kept beside the account.

Result: You can show why each person receives messages.

  3. Message templates for the ones you start

Written and submitted templates for a tasting invitation, a delay notice, an event quote follow-up and a renewal reminder.

Result: A business-started message is ready before it is needed.

  4. A rule for who answers, and when

A named person for each client during meal service and another for after hours, written down and shared with the client.

Result: A missing tray gets an answer during meal service.

  5. A catalogue of meal types and event menus

Daily lunch, boxed meals and event menus listed with a photograph and a short description, kept current by one person.

Result: A buyer can browse before she asks for a quote.

  6. Conversation report

Conversations that led to a tasting, a quote or a booking, against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You see whether WhatsApp is bringing contracts or only chatter.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a corporate caterer sets up before using WhatsApp with office buyers.

A record of who agreed to messages
Note the name, company, number, date and what the person agreed to hear about. An admin who gave her number for headcount has not agreed to offers.
A business number and profile
Register the number in the company's name and fill in the profile: name, kitchen address, hours, a short description. A supervisor's own number leaves when he does.
Approved templates for business-started messages
A message you begin, such as a tasting invitation or delay notice, needs an approved template outside the reply window. Write each in plain words and check WhatsApp's current business policy.
Who pays for the messages
WhatsApp charges businesses for some message types and the rules change. Check its current business pricing before you plan any volume, and decide who holds the account.
A way to opt out
Say how to stop in the first message and honour it at once. An admin who cannot stop the messages blocks the number, and that block counts against you.
A person who answers
Name who reads the number during meal service and who reads it after. A client who reports a missing tray and hears nothing until evening decides the contract is not looked after.

Who it is for

This is written for these corporate catering companies.

  • Cafeteria and canteen operators for offices
  • Daily lunch-box and tiffin suppliers to companies
  • Conference, seminar and offsite caterers
  • Boxed-meal caterers for training programmes and client visits
  • Night-shift and late-working meal suppliers
  • Caterers to co-working spaces and managed offices
  • Pantry, tea, coffee and snack suppliers for offices

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use a broadcast list or the business API?
A broadcast list in the app reaches only people who saved your number and suits a short client list. The API, through a provider, adds templates, several agents and records. Decide by how many people will answer, not by how many contacts you hold. Check WhatsApp's current policy for each.
Should each client's office have a WhatsApp group with us?
One group per client with only the working contacts is how many contracts run, and it is fine. Do not add the whole staff, keep promotions out, and make sure the group's admin is the company number, not a supervisor.
Can our supervisors keep using their own phones?
For the day's work, yes, but copy anything that changes the account to the business number or the record: headcounts, complaints, decisions. When a supervisor leaves, the client's contact should already be on the company number.
Can we put our menu in a catalogue?
Yes. A catalogue suits daily meals and boxed options with a photograph and a line each. Event menus change with date and headcount, so quote those in a message. Check WhatsApp's current rules on what may be listed.
Do offices really pick a caterer from a Google search?
For event lunches and small daily orders, often yes. For a large cafeteria contract, search only starts the shortlist; the tasting, the kitchen visit and a word from another office decide it. So your page and Business Profile have to hold up when an admin head checks you after someone recommends you.
Should we chase the big business parks or small offices first?
Start with offices your kitchen can reach on time at lunch hour, whatever their size. One working contract in a building is the best introduction to the floors above and below it. A very large cafeteria tender can wait until your kitchen and staff have the room to carry it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
