Corporate catering companies · Local SEO

Show up on the map when an office searches for a caterer near its own address.

Local SEO for a corporate catering company is how Google decides which caterers to show, and in what order, when an office searches near its own address. Your kitchen is not a shop that people walk into, so the profile has to be set up as a business that serves offices elsewhere. GullySales sets up the Business Profile, the listings and the reviews that Google weighs for those searches.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For corporate catering companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The kitchen is in an industrial shed and the buyer is in a glass tower”

Distance is measured from the office to your listed address. A kitchen in Peenya is far from Whitefield on the map even when your van drives it every day, so the service area has to be set honestly.

  • “Nobody visits, so the profile is checked instead”

A corporate buyer does not walk into your kitchen. She reads the listing for the licence, the photographs and the areas served before she dials.

  • “An old listing keeps ringing a dead number”

A kitchen that moved or a partnership that dissolved leaves a second listing behind. One sends the buyer to a number nobody answers.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate catering companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business Profile set up as a service-area business

The main category, the areas you serve, the hours your sales line is answered and the address shown or hidden as you choose, all checked against Google's current guidelines.

Result: Google knows where you serve, and the buyer sees it.

  2. Services and photographs by meal type

Office lunch, event catering and boxed meals each entered as a service, with photographs of the kitchen, packed boxes and a served counter.

Result: A profile that shows the work, not a single banquet picture.

  3. Sweep of old and duplicate listings

Every earlier listing under an old address, name or number found, claimed or merged, so one set of details remains.

Result: A buyer is never sent to a closed kitchen or a dead number.

  4. Directory entries office buyers use

JustDial, IndiaMART and Sulekha claimed where they fit, each carrying the same name, kitchen address and sales number.

Result: The same facts appear wherever the buyer looks.

  5. Questions and posts for what admin staff ask

Answers on the profile to the questions that come in by phone: licence, Jain meals, night supply, minimum headcount, with dated posts for offers.

Result: The first call starts at the second question.

  6. Profile report

Calls, direction requests and website clicks from the profile and each directory, against the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You see which listing is bringing calls.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How Google weighs a caterer for an office search, and what a corporate caterer sets in each part.

Relevance: category and services
Choose caterer as the main category and add office lunch, event catering and boxed meals as services. A vague profile is matched to the wrong searches.
Distance: office to your listed address
Google measures from the searcher to your address or service area. List only the areas you can reach on time at lunch hour, and drop the ones you cannot.
Prominence: reviews and mentions
Reviews from people who ate your food, links from park pages and entries in the right directories show you are known. Ask real clients only, within Google's rules.
Name, address and phone identical everywhere
Write the name, kitchen address and sales number exactly as they appear on Google, JustDial, IndiaMART and your invoices. Mixed versions split what is known about you.
Directories that business buyers open
Office buyers use JustDial, Sulekha and IndiaMART. Claim each, check category and photographs, and weigh any paid plan only after you have seen it bring a call.
Hours when someone answers
Show the hours the sales line and WhatsApp are answered, not the kitchen shifts. A buyer who calls at eleven and gets nobody goes to the next listing.

Who it is for

This is written for these corporate catering companies.

  • Cafeteria and canteen operators for offices
  • Daily lunch-box and tiffin suppliers to companies
  • Conference, seminar and offsite caterers
  • Boxed-meal caterers for training programmes and client visits
  • Night-shift and late-working meal suppliers
  • Caterers to co-working spaces and managed offices
  • Pantry, tea, coffee and snack suppliers for offices

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local seo work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our kitchen is in an industrial area but we serve offices across the city. Which address do we show?
List yourself as a service-area business and list the areas you reach on time. Whether to hide the kitchen address depends on whether buyers visit; check Google's current guidelines before choosing. Do not list areas you cannot serve at lunch hour.
We share a kitchen with another caterer. Can both be listed?
Two real businesses can sit at one address with different names, numbers and licences. One business listed twice cannot. If it is a shared cloud kitchen, say so on the profile and keep each brand's details separate.
We opened a second kitchen in another city. One profile or two?
One for each place with its own kitchen, staff and phone, each with the areas it serves. A single profile cannot honestly cover two cities, and buyers notice when the number rings in the wrong one.
A competitor has listings with addresses that do not exist. What can we do?
Report them to Google with proof such as a photograph of the empty site, and expect the outcome to be out of your hands. Keep your own listing accurate and your reviews genuine rather than copying the trick.
Do offices really pick a caterer from a Google search?
For event lunches and small daily orders, often yes. For a large cafeteria contract, search only starts the shortlist; the tasting, the kitchen visit and a word from another office decide it. So your page and Business Profile have to hold up when an admin head checks you after someone recommends you.
Should we chase the big business parks or small offices first?
Start with offices your kitchen can reach on time at lunch hour, whatever their size. One working contract in a building is the best introduction to the floors above and below it. A very large cafeteria tender can wait until your kitchen and staff have the room to carry it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
