Paying guest accommodations · Content marketing

Answer the questions a new arrival asks before they ever call the PG.

Content marketing for a PG means writing the room, food and rule details a student or professional searches for before moving to a new city. This way the property shows up with real answers instead of a bare listing. GullySales writes pages and posts around the colleges, tech parks and localities each property actually serves.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of paying guest accommodations at work in India

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For paying guest accommodations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Write for the specific college or tech park, not the city”

A page titled PG near a named engineering college or a named tech park answers the exact search a new arrival types, better than a generic city-wide listing.

  • “Show the mess menu and the room rules honestly”

A weekly food menu and a plain list of curfew and visitor rules reduce move-outs in the first month, because expectations are set before booking.

  • “Answer safety questions directly for parents”

Parents searching on behalf of a daughter or son ask about security guards, CCTV and warden presence, and content that names these plainly builds trust before a call.

What we do

What we deliver for paying guest accommodations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Institution-named property pages

A page named for the exact college, hospital or tech park each property serves, not a generic city listing.

Result: A new arrival searching for that exact institution finds the property directly.

  2. Mess menu and house rules page

A written weekly food menu and a plain list of curfew and visitor rules, published before a booking is made.

Result: A tenant arrives with expectations already set, not a surprise on move-in day.

  3. Parent-facing safety content

Content answering security, CCTV and warden supervision questions directly, aimed at a parent researching for a child.

Result: A parent gets the reassurance they are searching for before ever calling.

  4. Seasonal content and rent refresh

A scheduled update of rent, room availability and photos ahead of each admission and hiring season.

Result: A new arrival finds current, accurate information exactly when searching.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions a student, a parent or a new joiner asks before choosing a PG, and the page that answers each.

What is the total I pay: rent, deposit, food, electricity, laundry?
A full cost page. Show the rent, the refundable deposit, the notice period, and what food, electricity, Wi-Fi and laundry add. Say plainly what is extra, so the first bill has no surprise.
Is it safe, and who is on the premises at night?
A safety page for parents. Describe the gate rules, CCTV, the warden or caretaker, visitor rules and what happens in an emergency. Do not publish details that help an intruder.
What do we get to eat, and can I ask for a change?
A mess menu page. Show a typical week's menu, how a complaint or request is handled, and what is available for vegetarian, Jain or other diets.
How far is it from my college or office, and how do I get there?
A page named for each college or tech park nearby. State the walking time, the bus or metro route and the auto fare range, and show a map pin that matches your listing.
Can I see the room before I pay the advance?
A visit page. Say how to book a visit, what to check, such as the bed, the cupboard, the bathroom and the light, and how the advance and its refund are handled in writing.
What are the house rules?
A house rules page. Cover gate timings, guests, noise, cooking and notice. Put the same rules in your agreement, so the page and the paper say the same thing.

Who it is for

This is written for these paying guest accommodations.

  • Boys' and girls' PG accommodations near colleges
  • Co-living spaces for working professionals
  • PGs near tech parks and business hubs
  • PGs near hospitals for patients and attendants
  • Furnished single and shared-room PGs
  • Multi-property PG chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The rent, food and house rules are not settled yet, so a page would publish terms you might change before the first resident reads them.
  • You have no current photographs of the rooms and the mess, and writing without them would leave the reader guessing.
  • The beds are full for the year through a standing tie-up with a college, so new readers would find nothing to book.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Topics and formats come from the content strategy and the buyer-question list. The volume goes into the written scope, agreed with you, not into a number quoted on a call.

  2. 2

    Brief and draft

Each piece starts from its one-page brief and a short conversation with your technical person, recorded if they allow it, so the draft uses their words.

  3. 3

    Check the facts

Your person marks the draft for accuracy and we correct it. Regulated subjects also go to your own adviser, because restrictions on claims apply to articles as much as to advertisements.

  4. 4

    Publish and distribute

The piece goes live on your site, then out through the channels where your buyers already are.

  5. 5

    Read the enquiries and adjust

Results are reported against the baseline recorded before work began. Topics that brought readers but no enquiries are changed or dropped. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should the content actually cover?
Room types, rent, food, rules, safety measures and distance to the nearest college or workplace, written as a new arrival would search for them.
How often does it need updating?
Rent and room availability should be checked on a fixed routine, and content refreshed each admission and hiring season when new tenants are searching.
Should the room photographs be taken by us or by a photographer?
Take them yourself at midday, in a tidy room, using a phone held level. Show the actual room the tenant gets, including the bathroom. If the photograph shows a nicer room than the real one, the first bad review will say so.
Should we write in English or in the tenant's language?
Write the main pages in English, since that is how students and new joiners search. Add a short rules and menu page in the local language for parents. Keep every version identical on rent, deposit and rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
