Laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers · Lead generation

Every quotation gets a date to call back, not a folder to sit in.

Lead generation for a laboratory supplier means an enquiry arriving with enough detail to quote, and then being chased until somebody decides. GullySales sets the questions asked on the first reply, keeps one register of quotations and call-back dates, and records why each order was lost.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The enquiry names the item and never the budget

A store officer emails asking for a rate on eleven line items. Who sanctioned the money, and by when it must be spent, is what you have to ask back.

  • Nothing is lost, it only goes quiet

A file sits in purchase for four months and is neither won nor dead. One phone call to the department tells you which.

  • An instrument enquiry and a consumable enquiry are different jobs

One needs a demonstration date. The other needs a rate and a delivery day before the lab rings somebody else.

What we do

What we deliver for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One register for quotations, bids and portal enquiries

Every enquiry, wherever it came from, logged with the institution, the instrument, the value and the person who owns it next.

Result: Nothing waits in a personal inbox while the file moves.

  2. Qualifying questions asked on the first reply

Department, budget head, whether a specification is already fixed, quantity and the month delivery is needed, all asked before the quotation is typed.

Result: Two minutes tell you whether this is your order to lose.

  3. A rate and delivery reply the same day for consumables

A short reply format for routine items giving the rate, the pack, the GST and the despatch day, so a reorder is not lost to whoever answered first.

Result: The lab gets a usable answer while it is still asking.

  4. Follow-up dates keyed to where the file has reached

Call-back dates set by stage: technical evaluation, comparative statement, purchase order, with a note of what changed at each call.

Result: You ring while the file is still open on somebody's desk.

  5. A written reason against every lost order

Rate, specification, delivery or no decision at all, recorded against the institution so the pattern shows up after a quarter instead of after a year.

Result: You stop guessing why March went the way it did.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

  1. 1

    Read last year's quotations

In the free audit we go through a quarter of quotations and bids: what was quoted, what was won, which ones nobody followed up, and where the specification never matched.

  2. 2

Make the catalogue answer a specification

A page per instrument and model with the numbers a buyer copies, plus specification sheets a purchase officer can download without writing to you.

  3. 3

Put a date on every quotation and bid

A register for quotations, a daily watch on GeM and the portals, and a drafted pre-bid query whenever a clause reads like a competitor's brochure.

  4. 4

Reach the people who write the specification

Department-wise outreach to professors, lab in-charges and quality heads, with demonstrations and sample packs offered in the months when nothing is being bought.

  5. 5

Hold the reorder and the service

Reorder reminders for consumables, calibration and renewal dates tracked from your installation records, and a monthly report against the baseline set at the start.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

The purchase officer will not say where our file has reached.
Ask the department instead. The professor or lab in-charge who wrote the specification usually knows whether the comparative statement is done, and will say so.
How many times should we follow up a quotation?
Until somebody says yes, says no, or the funds lapse. Space the calls by stage rather than by week, and write down what you were told each time.
A tender's specification matches a competitor's model exactly. Can anything be done?
Raise a pre-bid query inside the window, with the technical reason the clause should be made generic. That works sometimes. The real answer sits months earlier, when the professor or lab in-charge is drafting the specification, and that is when your instrument has to be on the table.
Do we have to be on GeM?
For government colleges, hospitals and departments, yes, and the OEM authorisation has to be in order before you bid rather than after. Private testing labs and most diagnostic chains still buy on three quotations. Both routes need watching, because they run on different calendars.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
