Laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers · Reputation management

A dead instrument in the corner of a teaching lab is remembered at every purchase.

Reputation for a laboratory supplier is settled by service, because a professor with a broken oven tells the next department before you ever hear about it. GullySales puts your service record where buyers can see it, arranges reference calls with labs who rate you, and drafts the reply when a complaint reaches a public listing.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your reputation travels between departments, not on review sites

A lab in-charge rings a colleague in another college before signing. That phone call is your rating, and nobody shows it to you.

  • Response time is what people remember

Nobody recalls your rate two years later. They recall that the engineer came in two days, or that he came in three weeks.

  • A delayed March delivery goes into the institution's file

A supply that missed the funding deadline is written down by the store, and it is read the next time your quotation reaches that committee.

What we do

What we deliver for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Service calls logged with the time taken to close

Every breakdown call recorded with the date it came in, the date it was attended and the date the instrument ran again, by institution and instrument.

Result: You can show a service record instead of claiming one.

  2. A reference list of labs who will take a call

Named lab in-charges and quality heads who have agreed to speak for you, sorted by instrument, so the right reference goes with the right enquiry.

Result: The call a buyer makes before deciding reaches somebody who rates you.

  3. Installation and calibration handovers closed as a file

Each installation finished with the certificate, the traceability papers and a signed handover the lab can put in front of its own assessor. Accreditation remains theirs to hold.

Result: An assessment visit does not become a complaint about you.

  4. A drafted reply for a public complaint

A short, factual response ready for a marketplace or Maps review about a delivery or a service visit, stating what happened and what was done about it.

Result: Nobody is writing a reply to an angry review at eleven at night.

  5. Alerts on your firm's name and your principals' brands

Watches on your name, your listings and the brands you are authorised for, so a public complaint reaches you before it reaches a buyer.

Result: You hear about it first.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for laboratory and scientific equipment suppliers

  1. 1

    Read last year's quotations

In the free audit we go through a quarter of quotations and bids: what was quoted, what was won, which ones nobody followed up, and where the specification never matched.

  2. 2

Make the catalogue answer a specification

A page per instrument and model with the numbers a buyer copies, plus specification sheets a purchase officer can download without writing to you.

  3. 3

Put a date on every quotation and bid

A register for quotations, a daily watch on GeM and the portals, and a drafted pre-bid query whenever a clause reads like a competitor's brochure.

  4. 4

Reach the people who write the specification

Department-wise outreach to professors, lab in-charges and quality heads, with demonstrations and sample packs offered in the months when nothing is being bought.

  5. 5

Hold the reorder and the service

Reorder reminders for consumables, calibration and renewal dates tracked from your installation records, and a monthly report against the baseline set at the start.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we ask a government college for a review?
Ask for a performance certificate instead. That is what an institution can issue and what the next tender will accept. Keep review requests for private testing labs and diagnostic chains.
A customer is angry about a delayed delivery. What do we say?
Give a date you can hold to, in writing, and then hold it. Their worry is the budget lapsing, not your explanation of the transport.
A tender's specification matches a competitor's model exactly. Can anything be done?
Raise a pre-bid query inside the window, with the technical reason the clause should be made generic. That works sometimes. The real answer sits months earlier, when the professor or lab in-charge is drafting the specification, and that is when your instrument has to be on the table.
Do we have to be on GeM?
For government colleges, hospitals and departments, yes, and the OEM authorisation has to be in order before you bid rather than after. Private testing labs and most diagnostic chains still buy on three quotations. Both routes need watching, because they run on different calendars.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
