FMCG distributors · Social media

Show retailers and brands that your godown delivers, with your own photographs.

Social media marketing for an FMCG distributor is a small set of posts and WhatsApp statuses that show real stock, real vans and real deliveries to retailers and company staff. GullySales plans what to post, who posts it and how a reaction becomes an entry in the outlet register.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

FMCG distributors: show a real physical business scene illustrating Beat plans and outlet master. Group outlets into beats by day, record each outlet’s type, owner and phone, and see which shops were visited and which placed no order.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For FMCG distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The brand's creatives are not yours to copy”

Company artwork is the company's property and its advertising rules apply to it. A distributor post works better with your own photograph of a loaded van or a restocked shelf, with scheme details lifted from the company circular.

  • “LinkedIn reaches the people who appoint distributors”

Regional and area managers use LinkedIn. A short post on a new town covered or a van added reaches them without a mailer, and a firm page that matches your capability document makes the follow-up call easier.

  • “WhatsApp status is the retailer's feed”

Shop owners look at status updates from suppliers they know. A scheme card or a stock-arrived note there reaches a retailer who never scrolls Instagram or Facebook.

  • “A reaction without a name is wasted”

A shopkeeper replies to a post and the salesman never learns which shop it was. Replies and calls need to reach the register with the outlet's name, or the post counts as noise.

What we do

What we deliver for FMCG distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Photo routine

A short list of real moments to photograph: loaded vans, new stock arriving, a restocked shelf, with the retailer's permission asked first.

Result: A folder of your own photographs, labelled by town and date.

  2. Posting plan by audience

Which posts go to LinkedIn for company managers, which to WhatsApp status for retailers, and who at the godown takes the photograph.

Result: A plan that names the person and the platform for each kind of post.

  3. Scheme card template

A one-image layout for a company scheme, filled in from the circular and checked against it before it goes out.

Result: A template the godown fills in without a designer.

  4. Reply handling note

What the salesman or godown staff do when a retailer answers a post: whom to tell, what to record, what to say.

Result: Every reply ends in a register entry.

  5. Firm and owner profiles

LinkedIn pages for the firm and the owner, written from the same facts as the capability document.

Result: Profiles whose numbers match your books.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need Instagram?
Only if buyers you want to reach look there. Start where retailers and company staff already are, which is WhatsApp and LinkedIn, and add a platform when there is a reason.
Can we run the company's advertisements on our page?
Repost only what the company allows. Advertising rules differ by product, so check with the company and your own adviser, and check each platform's current rules.
Who should post?
A named person at the godown, with the owner approving anything that mentions a company or a scheme. We set up the routine and the approval step.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
