Textile wholesalers · WhatsApp marketing

Run the catalogue, the rate query and the swatch request from one WhatsApp number.

WhatsApp marketing for a textile wholesaler is the use of WhatsApp Business for catalogues, rate queries, swatch requests and reorder reminders with buyers who already ask for cloth there. It matches how the trade talks. GullySales sets up the account, the catalogue and the messages, and ties them to the register.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For textile wholesalers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The rate question arrives with a photograph”

Buyers forward a screenshot of a fabric and ask for rate and width. A reply that comes late goes to the next counter. A saved reply that asks for quantity and city, then hands over to a person, keeps the buyer waiting less.

  • “A catalogue must carry width and minimum lot”

A catalogue with a photograph and a name leaves the buyer asking the same two questions each time. Writing width and minimum lot on each item removes the first exchange from every chat.

  • “Broadcast lists need consent”

Sending the same message to every number in the phone annoys buyers and risks the number being reported. Build the list from buyers who agreed to hear from you and give them a way to opt out. Check the platform's current rules.

  • “One number, several people, no record”

When two salesmen answer from one phone, nobody knows who promised a rate. Chats need an owner, labels for the stage and a place where the promise is written down.

What we do

What we deliver for textile wholesalers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business account setup

A business profile with name, address, hours, a short description and catalogue.

Result: A buyer sees a proper counter profile when they message.

  2. Fabric catalogue

Items listed with fabric name, width, minimum lot and a swatch option, photographed in daylight.

Result: The two usual questions are answered before the buyer asks.

  3. Saved replies and labels

Standard replies for rate queries, swatch requests and sample follow-up, with labels for each stage.

Result: The first reply goes out in the same form each time.

  4. Consent-based buyer lists

Lists of buyers by type who have agreed to receive messages, with a simple opt-out.

Result: Each broadcast reaches only people who agreed.

  5. Chat-to-register routine

A rule for logging an enquiry from chat into the buyer register with the quality and the promise made.

Result: A rate quoted in chat is also recorded in the register.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these textile wholesalers.

  • Garment manufacturers and stitching units that buy by the roll
  • Boutiques and designers who buy small lots in many colours
  • Tailors and tailoring shops in towns and city markets
  • Saree and dress-material retailers
  • Uniform makers who supply schools and companies
  • Home furnishing makers who need curtain and upholstery cloth
  • Export houses and merchandisers who buy for orders
  • Agents and brokers who place orders for several buyers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is the WhatsApp Business app enough?
For a small counter, yes. It gives a catalogue, labels and saved replies. A larger counter with several salespeople may need the API through a provider, and we explain the difference and the cost before you decide.
Can we send the new arrivals to all our buyers?
Send them to buyers who agreed and who buy that kind of cloth. A boutique does not need the school-shirt news. We split lists by buyer type so each message is relevant.
Should the rate go in the catalogue?
Only if you will honour it for a stated period. Otherwise leave it out and ask the buyer to message for the rate, which also gives you a quantity and city to log.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
