Supply chain technology companies · Lead generation

Bring in the logistics heads whose depots your product actually fits.

Lead generation for a supply chain software company means attracting operations, transport and warehouse leaders who run the workflow your product replaces. GullySales works on the use-case pages, the lead form and the hand-off to sales so that each enquiry carries a role, a depot type and the spreadsheet or tool being replaced.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For supply chain technology companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A download is not a demand”

An ebook on warehouse digitisation draws students, consultants and competitors along with the logistics head. If the form asks for nothing about the company, sales spends the day sorting names instead of calling buyers.

  • “The fleet owner and the 3PL ask different questions”

A fleet owner wants trip costs, driver apps and proof of delivery. A third-party warehouse operator wants inbound receipt, bin locations and client billing. One lead path for both sends each of them to a page that answers the other's question.

  • “Integration is the first doubt, not the last”

A buyer who runs SAP, Tally or Zoho wants to know how orders and invoices reach your product before they care about a dashboard. Leads that arrive without that question answered stall at the pilot stage.

  • “Referrals from implementation partners go unlogged”

A systems integrator or a transporter association member mentions your product to a client, and the name lives in a chat. Without a source field, the best leads look like cold ones.

What we do

What we deliver for supply chain technology companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Use-case landing pages

One page per workflow, such as route planning for distributors or dock scheduling for a warehouse, with the screens and the integration notes a planner looks for.

Result: Each enquiry names the workflow it came for.

  2. A qualifying demo form

A short form that asks for role, company type, systems in use and the current method, separating a logistics head from a student.

Result: Sales can read the role and system before the first call.

  3. Lead source register

A single sheet or CRM field that records search, LinkedIn, partner, event and referral origins for every enquiry.

Result: You can see which source produced a pilot, not only a form fill.

  4. Account list for outbound

A named list of distributors, manufacturers and 3PLs that fit your best customers, with the right role at each.

Result: Outbound goes to companies that match the ones you have won.

  5. Partner referral note

A one-page note for integrators and consultants explaining who your product suits and how to introduce it.

Result: A partner knows what to say and where to send the buyer.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture

Each enquiry should arrive with the facts a logistics demo needs.

Workflow they came for
Route planning, dock scheduling, proof of delivery or stock visibility. Taken from the landing page the buyer used, so the demo opens on their problem instead of the full product.
Fleet or depot size band
A small range such as owned trucks or number of sites, picked from a list. It tells sales whether to book a pilot call or send the self-serve walkthrough.
System the data lives in
Tally, SAP, Zoho or a spreadsheet. It decides which integration note goes out before the call and whether IT needs to join.
Role of the person filling the form
Logistics head, fleet manager, IT lead or consultant. It separates a buyer from a student or a rival before anyone spends an hour on a demo.
Partner or event that sent them
An integrator, a transporter association talk or a customer introduction. Recorded at the first touch so the source of a pilot is never guessed later.

Who it is for

This is written for these supply chain technology companies.

  • Transport management system vendors for fleet owners and shippers
  • Warehouse management system providers for 3PLs and distributors
  • Route planning and last-mile delivery software companies
  • Fleet telematics and vehicle tracking providers
  • Freight marketplace and load-matching platforms
  • Inventory planning and demand forecasting software makers
  • Procurement and supplier portal vendors
  • Control tower and visibility platform providers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no pilot environment or onboarding person yet, so a booked demo would have nowhere to go.
  • Your product does not yet connect to the ERP or accounting tool most of your buyers run, and every enquiry would stall at the integration question.
  • You cannot name the roles that buy from you, so a form would collect contacts nobody can qualify.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we gate every resource behind a form?
No. Keep the integration guide and the screen walkthrough open, because buyers compare vendors on them. Gate only the material that a buyer would trade a contact for, such as a costing template.
How do we keep competitors out of the pipeline?
Ask for the company and the systems in use, and review the names before a demo is booked. A consultant or rival still gets through now and then, so treat the form as a filter rather than a wall.
Can outbound lists work for software with a long pilot?
Yes, if the list is built from depots that resemble your current customers. A named account with the right role reached on a real workflow beats a bulk list, because a pilot needs a sponsor on the buyer's side, and cold volume rarely finds one.
What should we do when a lead is a consultant, not a buyer?
Keep the contact but mark the role, and ask who the client is. Consultants and integrators recommend software to depots you cannot reach directly, so they belong in the partner list. The only mistake is booking them a full demo as if they were the operator.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
