Managed IT service providers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the search a founder types the week the IT person resigns.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a managed IT provider is being found when a company searches for outsourced IT support, a per-user help desk or someone to take over from a vendor who has let it down. Those searches are few and valuable, and a home page listing every service wins none of them. GullySales builds a page for each of those moments and traces organic enquiries through to signed agreements.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For managed IT service providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers do not search for 'MSP'”

An office manager types outsourced IT support, IT company for small office or IT AMC. A site written in channel jargon matches none of those.

  • “City pages with the name swapped help nobody”

A page for every city you could reach over a remote session, each carrying the same text, gives Google nothing to rank and a buyer nothing to believe.

  • “Job seekers inflate your traffic”

Help desk, system administrator and L1 support searches bring freshers looking for work. Visits rise and hide how few buyers actually arrive.

What we do

What we deliver for managed IT service providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each reason a company changes its IT

Separate pages for the departing IT executive, the growing office, the audit questionnaire and the switch away from an unhappy arrangement.

Result: A buyer lands on a page that describes their week.

  2. Service pages built around the scope

Help desk, Microsoft 365 or Workspace administration, backup with restore tests, patching and resident engineers, each with what is included and what is not.

Result: Searches for a single service find a specific answer.

  3. Sector pages only where you hold real clients

Pages for CA firms, clinics, export units or schools written from the systems those offices run, such as a Tally server or shared design drives.

Result: The sector page reads like you have worked inside one of those offices.

  4. Careers kept apart from the sales pages

Job openings on their own pages with their own wording, so job-seeking searches stop landing on service pages and muddying the figures.

Result: A visit to a service page means a buyer.

  5. Technical checks on the site you sell from

Speed, mobile layout, broken links, HTTPS and Search Console set up properly. A prospect buying IT judges your own site harder than most visitors.

Result: Your website stops undercutting the pitch.

  6. Organic enquiries traced to agreements

Each form and call from search tagged at the source and followed through to an assessment and a signed per-user agreement, read against the baseline.

Result: You know which page produced which contract.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a company types when it needs managed IT, and the page that should answer.

outsourced IT support for small business, plus the city
The core search. Answer it with a page naming the office sizes you take on, what the per-user fee covers and how a ticket is raised, with a short form asking the number of users.
IT person left, need IT support urgently
A handover page. List what to collect before the person leaves, such as admin passwords, domain logins and backup details, and offer a takeover call.
Microsoft 365 management company
A service page for licences, mailboxes and security settings. Say whether you are a licensing partner and what happens to the licences if the client moves to another provider.
IT support for CA firm
A sector page in that office's terms: the Tally or tax software server, client file shares, the filing-season crush and who on the team may open which folders.
resident IT engineer on contract
A page for on-site deployment, also searched as IT facility management. State the hours, the leave cover, the engineer's skills and the remote team standing behind them.
asset register for ISO 27001 audit
A page for the audit moment: the asset register, access reviews and backup records an auditor asks to see. Say plainly that certification is the auditor's decision, not yours.

Who it is for

This is written for these managed IT service providers.

  • Per-user support for growing offices without an IT team
  • Resident engineer and IT facility management providers
  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace managed service partners
  • Co-managed IT for companies with one in-house IT person
  • MSPs serving CA firms, clinics and other compliance-heavy offices
  • Backup and endpoint management specialists
  • IT support firms for factories and export units
  • Remote-first providers serving offices in several cities

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for managed IT service providers

  1. 1

    Assess

A free audit of where your current agreements came from, how many clients are per-user against break-fix, how renewals are handled and how fast new enquiries get a reply.

  2. 2

Write the scope and price model

One scope sheet, two or three per-user tiers and a proposal format the finance head can read without a call.

  3. 3

Be found at the moment of change

Pages, listings and referral routes aimed at resignations, audits, growth and vendor takeovers.

  4. 4

    Follow up to signature

Assessments booked, proposals chased on dates fixed when they are sent, and prospects with a known contract end date called before it.

  5. 5

    Renew and add seats

Renewal packs, licence reviews and new-service proposals for every client, with the outcome read against the baseline.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should each managed service have its own page?
Yes, for every service a buyer would search on its own, such as Microsoft 365 management or backup. Keep small add-ons on the parent page. One page listing every service ranks for none of them and answers nobody's question.
Do we need a blog?
Only if someone will write from real tickets. A post on what to do the day an employee leaves with the company laptop gets read and forwarded. Rewritten vendor news does not, and it costs engineer time you need elsewhere.
We support several cities remotely. Should we make a page for each?
Make one for each city where an engineer or a partner can visit. For the rest, say plainly on the service page that support is remote and how site visits are arranged. Pages that differ only by city name do more harm than good.
A national MSP ranks above us. Should we copy its site?
Copy the habits, not the words. Notice that it gives each service and sector its own page and states what is included, then write yours from your own clients and scope. Copied text is easy for Google to spot and hard for a buyer to trust.
Should we price per user, per device or as a flat retainer?
Per user suits offices where each person has a laptop, a phone and a mailbox. Per device suits factories with shared machines on the floor. A flat retainer hides the link between headcount and effort, so it gets renegotiated every time the client grows. Whichever you pick, write down what one user includes.
How do we justify the fee in a year when nothing broke?
Show the work that kept it quiet. A one-page record of patches applied, backups tested, accounts closed for leavers and risks still open answers the question before the finance head asks it. Send it ahead of the renewal, not with the invoice.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
