Automation equipment manufacturers · Social media

Show the drive on the machine, in the plant, running the job it was bought for.

Social media for an automation equipment maker is the use of LinkedIn, YouTube and WhatsApp to show engineers and distributors how your parts work on real machines. GullySales works on posts that carry a technical point and one clear action.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For automation equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Engineers watch a part work, not a banner”

A short video of a servo drive holding a position, or a sensor counting on a fast line, tells an engineer more than a product shot. A banner with a launch date gives nothing to compare.

  • “The audience is a few thousand specific people”

The buyers are panel builders, OEM engineers and integrators. A post with a large reach among the general public adds nothing to your next quote. A post seen by fifty engineers in packaging machinery can add an enquiry.

  • “Distributors share what makes them look knowledgeable”

A distributor reposts a clear wiring tip or a comparison sheet. A promotional graphic stays on your page. Make the post one a distributor would send to a customer.

  • “Staff engineers are the credible voice”

A post from an application engineer explaining a fix reads as help. The same text from the company page reads as an advertisement. The engineer needs time, a simple format and a review from the product team.

What we do

What we deliver for automation equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A LinkedIn plan for named buyers

A list of the panel builders, OEMs and distributors to reach, with posts written for the engineer on that list.

Result: Every post has an intended reader group, written beside it.

  2. Short demo and wiring videos

Phone-shot clips of a part on a bench or machine, with a caption naming the product, the rating and the task.

Result: Each clip ends with the product page or the technical contact.

  3. A post template for application engineers

A simple frame: the problem on the machine, what was changed, the part used, and a question for readers.

Result: An engineer can write a post in a few lines without a designer.

  4. A distributor sharing kit

A set of images, clips and one-line captions that a distributor can post or send to a customer.

Result: The kit lists what each distributor has shared.

  5. A comment and message routine

A rule for who replies to a technical question on a post and how it moves to the technical enquiry desk.

Result: Every comment with a question has a named person who answered it.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these automation equipment manufacturers.

  • Servo and variable frequency drive makers
  • PLC, HMI and controller makers
  • Sensor, encoder and proximity switch makers
  • Relay, contactor and control panel component makers
  • Motion control component makers, including linear guides and actuators
  • Power supply, signal conditioner and instrumentation makers
  • Industrial networking, gateway and IoT device makers
  • Machine vision and barcode reader makers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who should appear on camera?
Application engineers who know the product, with their agreement. Buyers trust a person who can explain a drive fault. Decide who is comfortable on camera, give them a short brief, and let the product team check the claims before the post goes up.
Can we show a customer's machine?
Only with the customer's permission, in writing, and without the nameplate or any detail they treat as confidential. Some machine builders do not want their design copied. Ask first, and offer to show the part without the machine around it.
Do festivals matter for a business like ours?
A greeting on a festival keeps goodwill with distributors, but it brings no specification. Keep festival posts few and simple, and spend the effort on technical posts that an engineer would save.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
