Beverage manufacturers · Manufacturing

Win the dealer's cooler before the big brands take it.

A cooler in a bakery or a bus-stand shop has room for a dozen brands or so, and the national names hold the best racks. A regional bottler enters by being cheaper, closer and quicker to restock, and has to prove that to one shopkeeper and one dealer at a time.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A brand owner reviews beverage and snack packaging

In one paragraph

Beverage manufacturing is the making and bottling of soft drinks, soda, energy drinks, ready-to-drink tea or coffee, and other packaged drinks for sale through dealers and shops. Beverage sales and marketing wins outlets, dealers and bottling contracts. GullySales builds the dealer offer, the contract-bottling pitch and the outlet records that show what sells.

A beverage plant can make more than one product. It bottles its own soda, runs a contract for another company, and packs a juice drink or a malt drink in the same plant. Each of those sells to a different buyer, and the marketing for them cannot be one brochure.

How buyers decide

How beverage manufacturers are chosen.

A retailer picks a drink brand on four things: what customers ask for, the margin per bottle, how quickly the dealer replaces empties or cases, and whether the cooler or branded fridge comes free. A cold bottle at a decent margin that does not run out is enough to keep the shelf.

A wholesaler or sub-dealer chooses on credit period, damage handling and the scheme on case bundles. Promise only the breakage and return terms the plant can honour in every town.

Brands that want to be bottled by someone else look at the plant first. They ask about line capacity, bottle and closure sources, laboratory records and the licences the plant holds, and then about the minimum run and who handles complaints. The decision moves slowly and passes through quality, purchase and the owner.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for beverage manufacturers.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Shopkeepers know the big brands and not ours”

We are in the village shop because the dealer pushed us. Nothing tells the customer in the next town that we exist.

  • “Coolers and visi-coolers cost money and sit half empty”

We place equipment on a promise and the shop fills the rest with other brands. Nobody checks until the next season.

  • “Dealers take stock on credit and pay late”

A dealer who moves five hundred cases a month has a long outstanding. Our salesman cannot tell which ones to stop and which to support.

  • “Contract bottling enquiries come by phone and go nowhere”

A start-up brand calls, asks for a rate per bottle and vanishes. We have no sheet that answers the questions before the call.

  • “Summer is booked, winter is empty”

Plants run at full speed for a few months and at half capacity afterwards. We have no plan for hot drinks, event supply or institutional orders.

  • “Our packs look like everyone else's”

Plain labels, stock fonts and a name that blends in. The cooler door offers no reason to pick ours.

What we do

What we do for beverage manufacturers.

Everything included for beverage manufacturers.

  1. A dealer offer in one page

Margin, scheme, credit terms, breakage handling and cooler policy written plainly, with the towns still open for a new dealer.

  2. A contract-bottling enquiry page

Line capacity, bottle sizes and closures, minimum runs, lab and quality records you hold and the questions you need answered, with an enquiry form that records volume and product.

  3. An outlet and cooler record

Every shop, cooler and dealer on one sheet with last order date, placement photo and stock status, updated from salesman visits.

  4. Label and pack review

A review of the pack as it sits in the cooler beside three competitors, with a brief for the designer if the pack needs changing.

  5. A catering and event sheet

Case rates and delivery terms for weddings, functions and canteens, with a WhatsApp number that answers.

  6. Credit and outstanding view

A simple dealer-wise view of sales, collections and overdue amounts so the salesman knows who to support.

How the result is measured

  • Outlets and coolers placed and reordering
  • Dealer enquiries and appointments
  • Contract-bottling enquiries and their volume
  • Event and canteen orders
  • Overdue amount by dealer
  • Orders by product and pack

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Retail outlet and cooler placement · Dealer and sub-dealer appointment · Contract bottling and private label · Event, wedding and caterer supply · Canteen, hospital and corporate supply · Modern trade and quick commerce listings · New flavour or pack launch · Winter and off-season products · Export and neighbouring state entry

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what beverage manufacturers most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • Summer cooler campaign

Dealer and shop outreach, window stickers and a scheme for retailers who take a cooler, started before the season opens.

  • New flavour trial

A small-town trial with sampling at colleges, bus stands and functions, plus shop posters and a limited-time scheme.

  • Dealer appointment drive

Calls and visits to wholesalers in uncovered districts, with a clear dealer terms sheet and a follow-up record.

  • Contract manufacturing outreach

Targeted outreach to new beverage brands, nutrition start-ups and restaurant chains that want a bottled product, with a plant overview and a sample route.

  • Event and wedding supply

Search ads and flyers to caterers and event planners for bulk soft drinks and soda, with delivery by locality.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of beverage manufacturers, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Retailers with coolers

Bakeries, juice stalls, bus-stand shops and general stores that already stock cold drinks, approached with a margin and a scheme.

  • Wholesalers and sub-dealers

The district trader who supplies the small shops from a tempo and a godown with room for crates, found by asking the shops who delivers to them.

  • New beverage brands

Founders who have a recipe and need a plant, found through start-up groups, trade portals and LinkedIn.

  • Caterers and event planners

A directory of caterers, tent houses and halls in your delivery area, with a case-rate sheet to send before the wedding season fills their diaries.

  • Institutional buyers

Canteen contractors, and the hospital and college administrators who sign off their cold-drink supply, buying by the case against a quotation.

Who it is for

This is written for these beverage manufacturers.

  • Regional soft drink and soda bottlers
  • Goli soda and local fizz makers
  • Energy and sports drink brands
  • Ready-to-drink tea, coffee and lassi brands
  • Contract bottlers and co-packers
  • Syrup, squash and drink concentrate makers
  • Flavoured water and mocktail mix brands
  • Beverage start-ups with a contract-manufactured product

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for beverage manufacturers

  1. 1

Count the plants and the products

Each line, what it bottles, which buyer it serves and what it earns the plant, set down side by side with the enquiries and orders now coming in.

  2. 2

    Split the buyers

Retail, dealer, contract and event buyers are separated, because each has a different question.

  3. 3

    Write each offer

The dealer terms sheet, bottling page and event rate card are drafted and checked with your team.

  4. 4

Run the visits, calls and listings

Outreach begins and every contact, quote and follow-up is recorded with a name and a date.

  5. 5

    Compare with the baseline

Results are read against what was written down at the start. A shop that took a cooler and bought nothing else goes on a list for a conversation.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • HOPO Hardware

    Situation
There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions beverage manufacturers ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How does a small bottler compete with national soft drink brands?
By being cheaper per case, closer to the shop and quicker to replace stock, and by proving it with a shelf record. You will not match their advertising, so the work is dealers, coolers and local visibility.
Can you find contract bottling customers for our plant?
We can build the page, the pitch and the outreach to new beverage brands and record each enquiry. Whether a brand signs depends on your price, capacity and records.
Do we need a different plan for goli soda and energy drinks?
Goli soda is sold on price and habit in a small area. An energy drink is sold on pack, positioning and who is seen holding it.
Do you advise on beverage licences and labels?
Not our area. Licences and label standards for drinks vary by body and change over time, so take them to your adviser and tell us what the plant may claim.
Is the cooler worth giving free to retailers?
Only if the shop fills it with your drinks. Recording stock status at each visit shows which coolers pay and which should go elsewhere.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and we tell you which applies to you after we have spoken. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
