Carpet manufacturers · Buyer persona

Write down who orders your carpets and what each of them checks before they say yes.

A buyer persona for a carpet maker is a written profile of one kind of buyer: what they look at, who else signs off, and what makes them hesitate. GullySales works on profiles for importers, designers, project teams and showrooms, drawn from your own enquiries.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Carpet cleaning companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Enquiries and quotations. Log each call with the property, rooms and fibre type, and quote by area, room or set charge from your own rates. Photographs from the customer stay on the record.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For carpet manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The importer weighs reliability over the single piece”

An importer abroad has been let down by late programmes and colour variation. The persona to write is of a buyer who asks about capacity, dye lots and packing, and who judges the unit by how the last small order was handled, packed and reported.

  • “The designer buys for a client who is not in the room”

A studio chooses a carpet that the client must approve. The designer needs a sample, a link to share and answers ready for the client's questions. A persona that misses the second person misses the real decision, and the reply goes to the wrong reader.

  • “The hotel project team has a procurement chain”

A consultant specifies, a purchase team prices and an owner approves. Each looks at a different thing: the pattern, the rate, the supply history. One message sent to all three satisfies none, so the profile has to note each reader separately.

  • “The showroom owner is thinking about the next season”

A dealer wants fresh designs and quick refill of what sold. The persona is a person who compares three makers on novelty and reliability of replenishment, and who answers messages in short bursts between customers on the shop floor.

What we do

What we deliver for carpet manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Four buyer profiles

One page each for importer, designer, project team and showroom owner, covering what they ask for and what worries them.

Result: A profile exists for every buyer type you sell to.

  2. A decision map

For each profile, who decides, who advises and who signs the payment.

Result: You know which person to write to at each stage.

  3. Objection notes

The doubts each buyer raises, such as colour variation, delivery or price, with a clear written reply.

Result: Your team answers a doubt the same way each time.

  4. Message guidance per profile

The words, designs and proof each profile responds to, ready for outreach and fair follow-up.

Result: Outreach to a designer reads differently from outreach to a dealer.

  5. A review against real enquiries

A check of each profile against recent enquiries so it reflects actual buyers.

Result: Every profile is tied to enquiries you can name.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Where does the information for a persona come from?
From your own enquiries, quotations, fair conversations and the people who deal with buyers every day. We write the profile down and read it back to you for correction before it is used anywhere.
Is a persona the same as a customer list?
No. A list names the buyers you already know. A persona describes the kind of buyer, so you can write to new ones you have not met and still sound like you understand their work.
What number of personas do we need?
One for each type of buyer you want more of. For a carpet unit that is the importer, the designer, the project team and the showroom.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
