Ice cream manufacturers · Digital marketing

Point search, social and chat at the buyers who decide where your tubs go.

Digital marketing for an ice cream maker is the joined-up use of search, social media, WhatsApp, listings and the website to reach trade buyers and households. GullySales works on choosing which channel serves which buyer, and on measuring what each one sends.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For ice cream manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Digital supports the field team, it does not replace it”

Freezer space is won by a salesman at the shop door. Digital work gives that visit a warm start: a listing that confirms you exist, a catalogue to forward, a form that records the enquiry. It fails when asked to do the visit's job.

  • “Each channel suits a different buyer”

Search finds distributors and caterers actively looking. Instagram reaches households and parlour seekers. WhatsApp keeps regular shops. Spending the same on all three treats unlike buyers as alike and wastes money on the wrong one.

  • “Seasonal timing decides the budget”

Spend placed after the hot weather has started chases buyers whose decisions are made. Spend placed before it reaches shops and distributors while space is being allotted. The calendar matters more than the platform.

  • “What you cannot measure you cannot move”

Without a record of where each enquiry and cabinet came from, the owner credits the last thing seen. A simple source field on every lead tells you which channels fed the freezers and which only filled the feed.

What we do

What we deliver for ice cream manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan by buyer

A one-page plan stating which buyer each channel serves, what it posts or says and who looks after it.

Result: Every channel has a named buyer and a named owner.

  2. Search and social adverts set before the season

Small, local adverts for trade supply, function orders and parlour enquiries, started before the hot weather and aimed at your delivery area.

Result: Adverts run in towns your vans actually reach.

  3. A connected enquiry route

Forms, calls and chats all arriving in one record with the source marked.

Result: You can trace a cabinet back to where the lead began.

  4. A website and listings tidy-up

The site, Google profiles and directories made to say the same things about range, areas and contact.

Result: A buyer sees the same facts wherever they look.

  5. A simple results sheet

Enquiries, cabinets and orders by channel, in words the owner reads in a meeting.

Result: Spend is moved toward what produced buyers.

  6. An off-season digital plan

Content and adverts for cakes, cold desserts, canteen supply and next year's distributor outreach.

Result: The channels are not silent from autumn to spring.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these ice cream manufacturers.

  • Regional ice cream makers selling tubs and cups through distributors
  • Kulfi and falooda makers supplying shops and event caterers
  • Natural and fruit ice cream brands with their own outlets
  • Franchise parlour chains supplying scoops and cones
  • Dairy-based makers that also run a parlour counter
  • Makers who supply ice cream bars and sticks to school-gate and beach vendors
  • Institutional suppliers to hotels, hostels and canteens
  • Home delivery and cloud-kitchen dessert brands making their own ice cream

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How much should we spend on digital?
It depends on your margins, your towns and what a placed cabinet is worth to you, which we work out from your records. We do not suggest a figure without them. Start small, read the results and move the money.
Is digital worth it for a regional ice cream brand?
If your buyers search, scroll or chat, yes. A regional brand wins on being present where its local trade buyers look. We test that with a small start and read what comes back before spending more.
Which channel should come first?
The one nearest the money you already earn. For a maker selling through distributors that may be search and WhatsApp. For one with outlets it is the Google listing. We rank them after reading your sales.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
