Pump manufacturers · Manufacturing
Get specified by the consultant and asked for by name at the dealer's counter.
A farmer's borewell has stopped lifting water in April, and the dealer in the taluk town has three brands in the rack. The one with a margin sheet, a spare in stock and a catalogue that forwards cleanly on WhatsApp gets recommended.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Pump manufacturers make the machines that move water, effluent, oil and process fluids, from a borewell submersible to a multistage boiler feed pump. Marketing puts the maker on consultants' approved vendor lists and into dealers' racks. Sales turns a duty-point enquiry into a quotation and an order, whether it arrives through a dealer, a tender or a plant purchase desk.
Two hundred kilometres away, a consultant is writing a pump schedule for a water treatment plant and lists only makers whose curves and test certificates are already on file. Both buyers choose a name they already know. Pump makers in Coimbatore, Rajkot, Kolhapur, Ahmedabad or Pune may build a sound product and still hold a thin file of proof. The dealer cannot find a catalogue to forward, the consultant cannot find a data sheet, and the enquiry that arrives with a flow rate and a head sits in somebody's inbox.

How buyers decide
How pump manufacturers are chosen.
Water and irrigation pumps are sold through a dealer network. The dealer and the mechanic who repairs the pumpset shape what a farmer or a householder buys, so margin, spare availability and replacement of a burnt-out unit count for more than a brochure. Cooperatives, state tenders and rural water schemes add a second route, where the buyer is an engineer reading a specification and a price schedule.
Industrial pumps follow a different path. A plant engineer or a design consultant states the duty point, the fluid, the material of construction and the standard to be followed, and the purchase department asks approved makers for a priced offer with data sheets and curves. A maker not on the plant's approved list may not see the enquiry, and an offer without the technical annexures can be set aside before the price is read.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for pump manufacturers.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Our dealers lead with the brand that is easier to sell”
The dealer has no sheet to forward and no one from our side has called since the season opened, so the other maker's representative, who visits, gets the shelf space.
“Enquiries come in as flow and head on WhatsApp and nobody turns them into a quotation”
The sales engineer is on a site visit, the data sheet is on someone else's laptop, and the enquiry is three days old before a number goes back.
“Consultants and EPC firms do not know we make that range”
We supply an end-suction pump to a few plants, but the pump schedule for the next treatment plant was written without us because we are on no approved list.
“Our website lists models and nothing about duty ranges”
A buyer searching for a multistage pump for a boiler feed, or a self-priming pump for effluent, finds a catalogue image and a phone number but no curve, no material options and no sign we have done the job.
“Spares and replacement customers go to a local copy”
A plant that bought our pump five years ago now buys seals and impellers from whoever picks up the phone first, and we never hear that the pump was running.
What we do
What we do for pump manufacturers.
Everything included for pump manufacturers.
A page for each pump family and duty
Separate pages for submersibles, monoblocks, end-suction, multistage, slurry and fire pumps, each with the flow and head range, the materials you offer, the standards you build to and the kinds of sites you have supplied.
A data sheet library a dealer can forward
Curves, dimension drawings, material options and test certificates collected in one clean set that opens on a phone, with a short price-list sheet for dealers.
A consultant and EPC introduction pack
A short capability document with the ranges you make, the plants you have supplied and the approvals you hold, written for the design consultant who prepares the pump schedule.
An enquiry sheet that captures the duty point
A simple form and WhatsApp reply that asks for fluid, flow, head, power supply and site up front, and a rule inside your office for who answers and who quotes.
A spares and service route for installed pumps
A pump-model lookup page, a QR plate on the pump, and a message to plants that bought from you, offering seals, impellers and overhaul.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries by source: dealer, search, tender, consultant
- Enquiries that reach a priced quotation
- Quotations sent against orders won
- Duty-point enquiries answered with a priced offer
- Dealers active against dealers appointed
- Spares and service orders from the installed base
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Every service, written for pump manufacturers
Each has its own page: what it involves for pump manufacturers, what you get, and what it is measured on.
- Lead generationFind the dealers, consultants and plant buyers who need your pump range.
- SEOWrite a page for each duty so the search for your pump ends at your site.
- Social media marketingShow the works, the test bench and the installed pump where buyers can see them.
- Content marketingPublish the selection guidance a buyer wants before they send a duty point.
- Buyer personasWrite down who chooses the pump: the dealer, the consultant or the plant engineer.
- CRMKeep every duty-point enquiry, quotation and dealer visit in one record.
- Follow-up systemsMake sure a quotation that goes quiet gets a call, not a shrug.
- WhatsApp marketingPut the catalogue, the margin sheet and the duty-point reply on the phone.
- Digital marketingPick the digital channels that reach dealers and plant buyers, and drop the rest.
- WebsiteBuild a site that shows the pump, the curve and the sites supplied in one place.
Worth a page and a campaign of their own
Dealer and distributor network in each district · Approved vendor list status with consultants and EPC firms · Duty-point enquiries recorded and quoted from complete data · Tenders for water supply and irrigation schemes that your team finds · Spares, seals and repair work from installed pumps · Export enquiries from Africa, the Gulf and South Asia · Energy-efficient models, with test data and any efficiency label the model holds · Replacement and retrofit business from old plants
Priority campaigns
Campaigns for what pump manufacturers most want to sell.
Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.
Pre-sowing dealer drive
A WhatsApp and visit plan for your dealers ahead of sowing and the first pumping season, with the catalogue, the margin sheet and only a replacement-unit promise your works can honour.
Search campaign for industrial duty searches
Ads and pages for searches such as multistage pump manufacturer, slurry pump supplier and boiler feed pump, with a landing page that asks for the duty point.
Tender document readiness
A standard set of certificates, test reports and past supply letters kept ready, so a bid for a water or irrigation scheme that your team finds does not wait on a missing paper.
Installed base message
A message to plants and dealers about seals, wear parts and overhaul for the pumps you have supplied, built from your own dispatch records.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of pump manufacturers, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
Dealers and mechanics
Pump dealers and rewinding mechanics in districts where your coverage is thin, with a visit plan sized to what your sales team can actually cover.
Design consultants and EPC firms
Water, wastewater and industrial consultants whose pump schedules you should be in, with an introduction and a data pack for their desk.
Plant maintenance and purchase teams
Maintenance heads and purchase officers in sugar, paper, chemical, textile and power plants in the industrial belts near you.
Fire contractors and package builders
Contractors who buy pump sets inside fire, effluent and water treatment packages, and who are approached package by package.
Who it is for
This is written for these pump manufacturers.
- Agricultural submersible and openwell pumpset makers selling through dealers
- Domestic and monoblock pump makers for homes, apartments and small commercial buildings
- Centrifugal and end-suction pump makers for industrial and process plants
- Multistage and boiler feed pump makers
- Effluent, sewage and slurry pump makers
- Fire-fighting pump set makers supplying to fire contractors
- Dosing, metering and chemical process pump makers
- Pump makers with a repair, overhaul and spares business beside new supply
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for pump manufacturers
- 1
Trace how orders arrive
Dealer orders, tender wins and plant enquiries are traced to their source, counting how many reached a quotation and where the rest went quiet.
- 2
Set up the enquiry desk
One place where every enquiry is recorded with its duty point, a rule for who quotes, and a flag on quotes that have gone silent.
- 3
Write up the pump families
Pages, data sheets, curves and project references for each pump family, written with your engineers and checked by them.
- 4
Approach consultants and dealers
Outreach to consultants and a visit and message plan for dealers, set up alongside search ads for the duties buyers look up.
- 5
Compare the four channels
Enquiries, quotes and orders are split by dealer, search, tender and consultant, so effort can move away from a channel that brings none.
Proof
What happened when owners fixed this.
Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
