Special purpose machine manufacturers · Social media

A clip of a machine running its cycle is proof that a catalogue photograph cannot give.

Social media marketing for a special purpose machine builder is short proof of what runs on your floor and your customers' floors, posted where engineers and plant heads look. GullySales plans which clips to record, which platform each belongs on and how a comment becomes a logged enquiry.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For special purpose machine manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Engineers watch the cycle”

A few seconds of a machine loading, working and ejecting a part tells an engineer more than a paragraph. A still frame of the frame and panel does not.

  • “The audience sits on LinkedIn and in groups”

Plant heads and manufacturing engineers read LinkedIn and trade groups. A casual post meant for a consumer audience gets no attention from them and may lower your standing.

  • “Customers restrict what can be shown”

Many plants will not allow filming on their floor. Trial runs in your own workshop before dispatch are the safe source for clips, and names stay out unless agreed.

  • “Your team is the story”

The designer who solved a vibration problem or the fitter who commissioned a line at a customer's site shows how the work is done. Buyers hire people as much as machines.

What we do

What we deliver for special purpose machine manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Shot list for trial runs

A list of clips and photographs to record at each factory trial: loading, cycle, ejection, gauging and the control panel.

Result: Every build produces material you can post.

  2. Platform plan

LinkedIn for plant heads and engineers, YouTube for longer cycle videos, and WhatsApp status for existing contacts.

Result: Each platform has a stated purpose.

  3. Post templates

A set of formats such as problem and cycle, before and after the manual method, and a day at commissioning.

Result: Your team can post without starting from blank.

  4. Approval note for customer material

A one-page checklist so no clip, name or part detail is posted without the customer's agreement.

Result: Nothing is published that the customer did not approve.

  5. Comment and message handling

A routine to move a question from a post into your enquiry sheet and quote log.

Result: Interest from social posts reaches the sales log.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is social media worthwhile for a machine that costs lakhs?
It builds familiarity rather than closing orders. A plant head who has watched your clips for a time gives your quote more attention than a stranger's.
Can we show a customer's machine?
Only with the customer's written agreement. Some plants refuse, so footage from your own trial runs is the safer base. Check the platform's current rules before running any paid promotion.
Who should post?
Someone close to the work, such as the design lead or project engineer, supplies the material. GullySales shapes it into posts, and your engineers approve each one.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
