Metal fabrication and laser cutting units · Email marketing

Every plant you have ever supplied is buying parts from somebody.

Email and WhatsApp for a job shop do two things: chase the quotations that went silent, and stay in front of purchase engineers between jobs. GullySales rebuilds the contact list from your quotation and delivery records, and runs both with a message worth a purchase engineer's minute.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For metal fabrication and laser cutting units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A quotation is not a conversation until somebody follows it”

Most shops send a rate and wait. A call and a short note a week later is the cheapest order a fabrication unit can win.

  • “Purchase engineers change jobs and take you with them”

The engineer who trusted you at one plant is at another two years later. Nobody in the shop knows, because nobody has written to him since.

  • “March is when plants spend what is left”

Budgets close at the end of the financial year, and a note in January about pending fabrication work catches money that has to be used.

What we do

What we deliver for metal fabrication and laser cutting units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A contact list rebuilt from quotations and deliveries

Every company quoted or supplied, with the contact, the parts, the date and the outcome, pulled out of files and phones into one list.

Result: You can reach every buyer you have ever worked for.

  2. A follow-up sequence for open quotations

Dated messages and a scheduled call against every quotation sent, with the reason recorded when a job is lost.

Result: Quotations stop dying in silence.

  3. A dormant account programme

A monthly batch of messages to plants that have not sent a drawing in six months, asking what parts are moving now.

Result: Old customers send their next job to you.

  4. Capability updates sent to purchase contacts

A short note when a machine, a material or a finishing process is added, sent to the engineers who already know your work.

Result: Buyers find out you can now take the part they were sending elsewhere.

  5. A year-end note timed to budget closing

A message in the weeks before the financial year ends, asking about pending fabrication and structures still unspent.

Result: You catch work that has to be placed before March.

  6. Reporting on revived work

Replies, reopened quotations and orders traced to follow-up, measured against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: The chasing is judged on the drawings it brought back.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a fabrication unit needs in place before mailing purchase engineers.

Contacts from quotations and delivery challans
Pull names from every quotation and delivery record, with the company, the part and the date. These people have already seen your quality, so start with them.
Consent noted from the quotation
India's data protection law rests on people agreeing to be contacted, so keep proof of that agreement. Add a line to quotation mails asking permission to send capability updates, and record the date.
A sender with a machine list attached
Mail from a named person at your own domain and link to a page listing sheet thickness, bed size and materials you cut. A purchase engineer wants to see the capability in one look.
Segments by industry and by job type
Keep OEM part buyers, panel and enclosure buyers and architectural clients on separate lists. A jali panel offer does not belong with a machine guard buyer.
Quotation follow-up apart from marketing
A chase on an open quotation is a business mail and a capability update is promotion. Keep them on separate lists with separate unsubscribe lines.
A reply path that takes a DXF
Replies must reach whoever can read a drawing and quote. A buyer who sends a file and waits for a reply goes to the next shop.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will a purchase engineer read an email from a fabricator?
If it is short and about a part. A note saying we now cut 16 mm stainless gets read, a newsletter does not. Keep it to one fact and a number he can ring.
Should follow-up go by email or WhatsApp?
Quotations by email so there is a record, reminders by WhatsApp because that is where the drawing arrived. Keep both in the same enquiry log so nobody chases twice.
Will a purchase engineer open a mail from a fabricator?
Yes, when the mail concerns a part they have bought or a material they use. Write the subject as the part or job, not the company. A generic brochure from an unknown shop is deleted. A note naming their last order gets read.
What if the drawing file is too big for email?
Ask the buyer to share it through a link or WhatsApp and say in your mail which formats you accept, such as DXF or STEP. Keep your own replies short with a clear next step, so the thread does not get lost in a long chain.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
