Metal fabrication and laser cutting units · Social media

A laser cutting a jali pattern is the best advertisement you own.

Social media for a fabrication unit is worth the time for two audiences only: architects and interior designers who specify decorative metal work, and purchase and design engineers on LinkedIn. GullySales runs both, using video shot on your own floor rather than pictures bought from a stock library.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For metal fabrication and laser cutting units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Architects choose fabricators from a portfolio feed”

A designer specifying a facade screen wants to see pattern work, edge finish and a fitted panel before naming a shop to the client.

  • “The machine footage exists and nobody keeps it”

Every shop has operators filming a cut on their phones. Collected properly, that is a year of posts already paid for.

  • “Homeowners scroll, purchase engineers do not”

Gate and railing work spreads on local groups and Instagram. Industrial work comes from LinkedIn, referrals and search, so budget belongs there.

What we do

What we deliver for metal fabrication and laser cutting units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A routine for collecting machine footage

A simple rule for operators on what to film and where to send it, so cuts, bends and fittings are captured as they happen.

Result: The posting never depends on somebody remembering.

  2. An Instagram portfolio for architectural work

Jali screens, facade panels, staircases and frames posted with the material, thickness and finish named, aimed at designers.

Result: Designers can judge your work without visiting the shop.

  3. LinkedIn posts written for purchase and design engineers

New machines, capacity added, a difficult part solved and sectors supplied, posted from the company page and the owner's profile.

Result: Industrial buyers see a shop that is investing.

  4. Permission agreed before a client's part is shown

A short ask and a written record, since a part on your bed may be somebody's unreleased product or a tooling detail.

Result: Real work can be shown without risking an account.

  5. Messages routed into the enquiry record

Instagram and LinkedIn messages logged with calls and WhatsApp files, with an agreed time for a first reply.

Result: A designer's message is answered the same day.

  6. Reporting on enquiries from social

Messages, drawings and jobs traced to each platform, measured against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can tell whether the posting is worth the operator's time.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where architects and engineers look at fabricators, and what to post for each.

Instagram for architects
Post decorative screens, jaali panels, gates and signage in daylight. Caption the material, the thickness and the finish, such as powder coating, so architects can specify it.
LinkedIn for purchase and design engineers
Post a batch of brackets or enclosures with the material and what was checked. Invite the DXF on WhatsApp, with material, thickness and quantity.
YouTube Shorts of the machine cutting
Film the beam on the sheet, the nesting layout and the finished edge. Sound on, since buyers like to hear it cut.
WhatsApp Business catalogue of materials
List what you stock: MS, SS 304, aluminium and GI sheet in the thicknesses you cut. Buyers then send files that match what you can do.
Google Business Profile photos
Add photographs of the machine, the bed size and finished parts. Buyers searching for laser cutting nearby judge a shop by what they see.
What not to post
Do not post a customer's DXF, drawing or a part carrying their logo. Ask first, and show your own samples or an unbranded part.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Instagram worth it for an industrial job shop?
Only if you want decorative and architectural work. For pure job work LinkedIn and search do more. Most shops that try both find the architects arrive from Instagram and the OEM drawings do not.
What do we post when the parts belong to customers?
Process and material. A bend being formed, an edge finish compared, an explainer on what thickness suits a machine guard. None of it identifies a customer.
Should the machine operator be on camera?
Yes, if they agree and wear the safety gear your shop requires, including eye protection near the machine. Buyers trust a shop where the person who runs it can explain the cut. Never film anyone near an open cutting area without protection.
People send a phone photo of a hand sketch in a message. How do we reply?
Thank them and ask for dimensions, material, thickness, quantity and finish, and a drawing or a DXF if they have one. Say you cannot quote a cut from a photo alone. Those who send details are real buyers. Do not quote a rate off a sketch.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
