Animal welfare NGOs · Digital marketing

Build a handful of channels that bring in help and keep it.

Digital marketing for an animal welfare NGO is the joined-up use of search, maps, social media, WhatsApp and email to bring help and funds to animals. GullySales works out which channels suit a small volunteer team and connects them through one record.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For animal welfare NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Too many channels spread a small team thin”

A group with three active volunteers cannot run six platforms. Picking the two or three that reach rescuers, adopters and donors, and doing them steadily, beats a weak presence everywhere.

  • “The channels do different jobs”

Search and maps bring people who need help now. Social media builds a following that gives in waves. WhatsApp holds the relationship. A plan that gives each channel its own job wastes less effort.

  • “Spending needs a reason”

A small advertising budget has a place, such as an adoption weekend or a sponsor drive, if the page it points to is ready. Money spent before the basics work only sends visitors to a gap.

  • “Measure what volunteers can read”

A dashboard no one opens is useless. A short sheet of rescue enquiries, adoptions, donors and repeat gifts, read at a committee meeting, tells the group what is working and what is not.

What we do

What we deliver for animal welfare NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan sized to your volunteers

The two or three channels worth running, who runs each and what each is for.

Result: The committee knows what is being done, by whom and why.

  2. The basics set up and tested from a phone

Map listing, rescue page, adoption form, donate link and saved WhatsApp replies, checked end to end.

Result: Each step from discovery to action opens correctly on a phone.

  3. A single record joined to every channel

Enquiries from each channel noted in the same sheet with their source.

Result: The sheet shows which channels bring rescuers, adopters and donors.

  4. A modest, purposeful ad plan where it fits

A small campaign for a defined drive, with the page and the follow-up ready beforehand.

Result: Any spend has a clear aim and a record of who responded.

  5. A short committee reading sheet

The handful of numbers worth reading together, written in plain words.

Result: Decisions about effort and spend rest on the group's own records.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a new rescue group start?
With a complete map listing, a rescue number that is answered and a way to record who helped. These cost little and serve the people already looking for you. Everything else builds on them.
Is digital marketing worth it for a group that survives on local donors?
Local donors search, scroll and message like everyone else. A clear online presence helps them find you and gives them a trusted way to give. We work around your actual supporters, not a generic audience.
Can you run our accounts for us?
We prepare the plan, pages, replies and routines, and train volunteers to keep them going. Where the committee wants us to handle some of the posting, we agree the scope in writing first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
