Animal welfare NGOs · WhatsApp marketing

Make the rescue chat the front door, with a donate link inside it.

WhatsApp marketing for an animal welfare NGO is the use of WhatsApp for rescue calls, adoption enquiries, donor updates and society contacts. GullySales works on the replies, the business profile and the lists so that the chat becomes a record, not a pile.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For animal welfare NGOs

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The rescue call is a WhatsApp message”

A finder sends a photo and a location pin. The reply decides whether help comes. A saved first reply that asks for the area, the animal and a call-back number saves precious minutes for a stretched volunteer.

  • “Group chats mix everything”

Cases, jokes, appeals and adoption questions flow together, and decisions get lost. Separate channels for rescue, adoption and donor updates keep each purpose clear and make later searching possible.

  • “Broadcasting needs permission”

Sending appeals to people who never agreed to receive them irritates them and can lead to the number being blocked. Ask first, make leaving easy and check the platform's current rules on messaging.

  • “A phone number held by one volunteer is a risk”

If the rescue line is the founder's personal phone, a change of hand means a change of number and a break in the chain. A business number shared by a rota keeps the line steady.

What we do

What we deliver for animal welfare NGOs.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Name, description, hours, location and catalogue entries for adoption, sponsorship and programmes.

Result: Anyone opening the chat sees who you are and what you do.

  2. Saved replies for the common messages

Rescue first response, adoption screening link, sponsor information and a polite no-room reply.

Result: A volunteer answers common messages in a moment, in a consistent tone.

  3. Labels and a hand-off routine

Tags for rescue, adopter, sponsor, foster and partner, with a note for who owns the next step.

Result: Chats are sorted and no one has to scroll to find a case.

  4. An opt-in donor update list

A list of people who agreed to hear updates, with a way to leave, and a calm message plan.

Result: Updates reach people who want them and nobody else.

  5. A shared-number rota

A plan for who watches the line and how a handover is noted.

Result: The rescue line stays answered when a volunteer is unavailable.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use a broadcast list for appeals?
Only for people who asked to receive it. Send updates in greater number than appeals, so the list does not feel like a demand. Check the platform's current rules and keep a simple way for people to leave.
Can WhatsApp take donations?
Share a UPI link or QR code in the chat, and keep the donation path simple. Collection and receipt rules differ by state and body, so your own adviser decides what you may say. We make sure the message matches that.
Do we need a chatbot?
Not at the start. A set of saved replies and a clear rota covers a small group. If enquiries outgrow volunteers, we look at simple automation, but only after the human routine works.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
