Business networking organizations · Search engine optimisation

Be the page an owner finds when searching for a referral group in their city.

SEO for a networking group is the work of appearing when an owner searches for a referral group, a business club or a chapter near them. GullySales works on the chapter pages, the words visitors use and the way each chapter is described in search.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business networking organizations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers use the city and the word chapter”

An owner thinking of joining types a city name with words like business referral group or networking meeting. A site that speaks only of the parent brand does not match those words, so the city page is where search is won or lost.

  • “One page cannot serve every chapter”

If every chapter shares a single page, search sees one thin listing. A chapter that meets on a fixed morning at a named hotel deserves its own page with that day, place and vacant seats written plainly.

  • “Vacant seats are searches waiting to happen”

A person who runs an interior design studio may search for a group that has a seat for their trade. A page that lists open trades answers that search directly, and a page that hides them gives the visitor nothing to act on.

  • “A hotel hall changes and the old address lingers”

Chapters move venues. Search keeps showing the old address long after the move, and a visitor arrives at the wrong door. Keeping one dated source of truth for place and time prevents the confusion.

What we do

What we deliver for business networking organizations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each chapter

Meeting day, place, how to visit, whom to ring and the vacant seats, with a title that carries the city and the word chapter.

Result: Each chapter can be found by its own city search.

  2. A vacant-seats page per chapter

A plain list of open trades, each linked to a short invitation form for that seat.

Result: A visitor searching for their own trade lands on a page that names it.

  3. City and area wording

The names of the suburb, the hotel and the nearest landmark that visitors type, written into the page in ordinary sentences.

Result: The page matches the way local owners describe the location.

  4. A venue-change checklist

The steps to update the page, the listing and every shared link when a chapter moves, in one written order.

Result: A move does not leave the old address in search.

  5. A search record

A simple log of the search words that bring visitors to each chapter page, read from your own site tools.

Result: You can see which searches lead to guest sign-ups.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does the parent brand's site help a new chapter rank?
It gives the chapter a trusted home, but search still needs a page that speaks of the new city. Give the chapter its own page, linked from the parent site.
How do we stop members posting different details?
Keep one chapter page as the source of truth and point every message and post to it. When the venue or day changes, the page is edited once and members share the link.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
