Cooperative societies · Digital marketing

Put the society's name, products and contact online in a form members trust.

Digital marketing for a cooperative society means the society's listing, page, messages and posts working together, so a household can find it, understand it and reach the counter. GullySales works on choosing the few channels the society can maintain and tying them to the counter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For cooperative societies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Digital is a second door, not a replacement”

The counter, the meeting and the secretary's visit remain how a cooperative works. Digital adds a way for the household that is away, or younger, to learn what the society offers and whom to ask before they travel.

  • “Too wide a spread, no maintenance”

A society that opens a page, a channel and a group in one burst and updates none of them looks neglected. Fewer channels, kept current by a named person, serve members better than a wide spread that goes stale.

  • “The private lender and the app are the comparison”

A household weighing the society against a private lender or a bank app sees their listing, their message and their reply. The society does not need their budget, only a clear, current and trustworthy presence.

  • “Financial and cooperative rules shape the wording”

What a society may say about deposits, loans, dividends and returns depends on its law, its by-laws and the registrar. The plan works within those limits, and the committee and adviser approve the wording. Nothing goes online that the society's own law and registrar would not allow on a printed notice.

What we do

What we deliver for cooperative societies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan for the society

A short plan choosing the listing, a simple page and one messaging route, with who maintains each.

Result: The committee knows which channels the society uses and who owns them.

  2. Digital basics set-up

The business listing, a simple page and a messaging account set up with consistent names and details.

Result: A household searching for the society finds the same facts everywhere.

  3. Message and wording guide

A guide to how the society describes its products online, in the member's language, with a list of claims it will not make.

Result: Staff can check a draft against the guide before it goes out.

  4. Enquiry-to-counter route

A route that takes an online question to a named person and a record in the register.

Result: An online enquiry ends with a call or a visit that is logged.

  5. Review of what members ask

A look at the questions received online and at the counter, used to decide what to write or fix next.

Result: The next task on the list comes from real member questions.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should a society spend on digital marketing?
That is the committee's decision, within the by-laws and the society's funds. We suggest starting with what costs little, a correct listing and a clear page, before any paid promotion.
Do younger members really use the society's online presence?
Some do, and some will not until the society gives them a reason. A clear page and a prompt reply on the phone show a younger household that the society is active and reachable.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
