Cooperative societies · WhatsApp marketing

Send members the notice they need on the phone they already carry.

WhatsApp marketing for a cooperative society means sending short, consented notices and answering member questions on the app a household already uses. GullySales works on the list, the message formats, the business account and the rules for who sends what.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For cooperative societies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Members already use WhatsApp, and prefer it to a letter”

A notice of the meeting, the dividend date or a milk payment reaches a member's phone and gets read. The same notice on a board reaches the few who pass it. For a household with a smartphone it is the ordinary way to hear from the society.

  • “Consent is the first line of the list”

A society that adds members to a group without asking turns a trusted body into a nuisance. A list built from members who agreed, with a way to stop messages, keeps the relationship the society depends on.

  • “Large groups become noise”

A group with every member lets anyone post forwards, greetings and rumours. A broadcast list the society controls, or a business account with set replies, keeps the notices clear and the secretary in charge. Members who want to reply to the society do so on the business number, not in the group.

  • “One number, several hands”

If the secretary's personal phone is the society's WhatsApp, every enquiry depends on that one person. A shared business number with a rota, a greeting and a handover rule lets the society answer whoever is on duty.

What we do

What we deliver for cooperative societies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Consented broadcast list

A list of members who have agreed to receive notices, with their language and the topics they accept.

Result: Every number on the list has a recorded agreement.

  2. Message formats for the society

Short templates for meeting notices, dividend dates, scheme reminders, produce announcements and payment confirmations.

Result: A staff member fills in the facts and sends a message with a consistent look.

  3. WhatsApp Business set-up

A business profile with the society's name, address, hours, a greeting and saved replies for common questions.

Result: An incoming message gets a clear first reply from the society's own number.

  4. Sending and approval rules

A short rule on who may send, what needs the secretary's approval and what must never be sent, such as balances or personal details.

Result: The committee has a written rule on what goes out on the society's number.

  5. Stop and correction route

A simple way for a member to leave the list or fix a number, and a record of each request.

Result: A member who asks to stop is removed and the request is on file.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send loan or deposit offers by WhatsApp?
Only as the society's law, by-laws and registrar's rules allow, and only to members who agreed to receive them. Check the platform's current rules for business messaging, and ask your adviser about financial offers.
What about members without smartphones?
They are reached by call, notice board, meeting or visit. WhatsApp is an additional channel. The register notes how each member prefers to be contacted so nobody is left out of society news.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
