Cultural associations · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp to inform families properly, not to flood every group with forwards.

WhatsApp marketing for a cultural association means using the app the community already trusts to share event details, class notices and sponsor updates with permission. GullySales works on how the groups, broadcasts and replies are organised.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For cultural associations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One large group carries everything”

Festival dates, rehearsal changes, condolence notices and sponsor messages share a thread. Members mute it, and the one message that mattered is missed.

  • “Forwarded posters travel without a link”

A poster passes through twenty phones with no address to ask, so a curious outsider can read the date but cannot reach anyone. Each poster should carry one contact route.

  • “People are added without asking”

Adding a family to a group they did not agree to produces silent exits and complaints. Ask first, and let people leave without fuss.

  • “The business account is not used for the simple things”

Replies to ticket and class questions can use saved answers and a catalogue of events. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging and consent before setting it up.

What we do

What we deliver for cultural associations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Group structure

Separate groups or broadcast lists for the festival, classes, sponsors and the youth wing, each with a stated purpose.

Result: Members join only what concerns them.

  2. Permission message

Wording that asks a family to opt in and explains how to leave.

Result: Every contact on a list has said yes.

  3. Saved replies

Ready answers for ticket price, hall address, class timings and sponsor enquiries, using only figures the committee provides.

Result: A volunteer answers the same question the same way.

  4. Poster with a contact line

A poster layout that includes one number or link for questions.

Result: A forwarded poster still leads back to the association.

  5. Rules for the group

A short note on what may be posted, who posts it and what stays out.

Result: Admins have a written reason to remove an off-topic message.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use a WhatsApp Business account?
It suits an association that receives regular enquiries, because it allows saved replies and a profile. Check the platform's current rules and terms first, then decide.
Can we message all our contacts about the festival?
Message people who agreed to hear from the association. Keep a record of who agreed, and let people stop receiving messages whenever they ask.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
