Educational associations · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for circulars and event notices that principals actually read.

WhatsApp for an educational association means a managed way to send circulars, event notices and reminders to principals and coordinators on the app they already use. GullySales prepares the message formats, the contact consent record and the rules for who may post.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For educational associations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Principals read WhatsApp before email”

A circular sent by email waits in a crowded inbox. The same notice as a short WhatsApp message, with the document attached, is seen the same day. The message must still stand alone, because the chat will be forwarded.

  • “Open groups turn into noise”

A group where every member can post fills with greetings and forwards. Broadcast lists or announcement-only groups keep the association's notices separate from chatter.

  • “Consent is a record, not a feeling”

A principal who has agreed to receive notices should be on the list, with the date and the channel noted. A number added without asking damages trust and may breach platform rules, so check the platform's current rules.

  • “A forwarded message loses its sender”

When a notice is forwarded three times, the reader may not know it came from the association. Every message should open with the association's name, the date and the subject.

What we do

What we deliver for educational associations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Message formats for the association

Templates for circular, event invitation, registration confirmation, reminder and thank-you.

Result: Every message carries the association's name, date and subject.

  2. Contact consent register

A sheet noting who agreed to WhatsApp notices, when, and for which type of message.

Result: A list of reachable principals with a record of permission.

  3. Group and broadcast structure

A plan for announcement-only groups, broadcast lists and a separate coordinators' group.

Result: Notices and conversation do not mix.

  4. Posting rules

A short note on who may post, what may be posted and who clears it.

Result: The office knows what goes out and who approved it.

  5. Reply handling sheet

A place to log questions that arrive by WhatsApp and who will answer.

Result: Questions on a chat reach the committee member who can answer.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we make one big group for all members?
The safer shape is an announcement-only group or broadcast list. Open groups need a moderator and clear rules, and the association must be ready to maintain them.
Can we add principals to a group without asking?
No. Ask first and keep a record. Platform rules on groups and messages change, so check the platform's current rules before each new use.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
