Meditation organizations · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a searcher finds when they type the method's name and their city.

SEO for a meditation organization is the work of making the pages that describe the method, the courses and the centres appear when a person searches for them. GullySales works on how the national site, the chapter pages and the course pages are written and linked.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For meditation organizations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search the method, then the place”

A searcher types the method's name with a city, or asks what the course involves. A site that describes the method only in the organization's own vocabulary misses the plain question the searcher actually typed.

  • “Chapter pages often have nothing to say”

A centre page that holds an address and a poster image gives a search engine nothing to read. A page with the timings, the teacher, the course on offer and how to reach the hall has a reason to appear.

  • “Old course pages stay indexed”

Last year's retreat page still ranks, still shows a closed date and sends a keen visitor to a dead end. Courses that have ended need a clear note and a link to the next one, not silence.

  • “The same words in different places compete”

When the national site, a chapter blog and an event page all describe the beginner course in near-identical text, the search engine picks one without being asked. The organization should choose which page is meant to rank.

What we do

What we deliver for meditation organizations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A keyword map for the method and the courses

A list of the phrases people use for the practice, each assigned to one page, so no two pages of the organization compete for the same search.

Result: Each search phrase has one intended page.

  2. A chapter page template

A fixed layout holding timings, venue, teacher, course and a map, which each chapter fills in and the head office reviews.

Result: Every centre page has something a searcher can use.

  3. Course pages that carry their dates

Pages that show the next date and a seat status, and that move to an archive note once a course has run.

Result: A visitor never lands on an expired course.

  4. Plain-language method explainer

A page written with senior teachers that answers what the practice is and what a session asks of the participant, without health claims.

Result: The most common question about the method is answered on your own site.

  5. Internal links from the national site to each chapter

A structure that lets a visitor move from the method page to the course to the nearest centre.

Result: A searcher can reach the nearest chapter in few clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should every chapter have its own website?
Usually one site with a page per chapter is easier to keep correct and gives the organization one name to build on. A chapter that already runs a site can stay, with links in both directions.
Can SEO promise a first-page result?
No. Rankings depend on the search engine and on other sites. What we can do is make each page clear, correct and linked, and show you the searches that bring visitors.
Do blog posts by teachers help?
They help when they answer a question a searcher actually asks and are checked by a senior teacher. A post that repeats a talk's slogan gives the searcher little to use.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
