Religious event organizers · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a host finds when searching for a jagran or katha organiser.

SEO for a religious event organizer is the work of making your pages appear when a host searches for the event they are planning, such as a bhagwat katha, a jagran or a society pandal. GullySales writes the event pages and structures them so a search engine and a host both understand what you run.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For religious event organizers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Hosts search by event, not by company”

A person types the name of the ritual and the city, not the name of an organizer. A single page that says you do events fails to match that search, while a page for each ritual, written in the words a host uses, can.

  • “Festival searches rise and fall with the calendar”

Searches for Navratri or Ganesh organisers build ahead of the festival and then vanish. A page published after the rush starts is late, so pages need to exist and be refreshed before the season, not during it.

  • “Spelling and language vary by region”

A host may write pooja, puja or poojan, and may search in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil or Gujarati script. Pages that use the spellings and languages of the communities you serve match more of what is typed.

  • “Thin pages with only a phone number do not answer the question”

A host wants the pandit, the samagri, the stage, the sound and a price range. A page that lists these in plain words gives search engines something to read and gives the host a reason to stay.

What we do

What we deliver for religious event organizers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each event type

Katha, saptah, jagran, mandal festival, home puja and corporate puja each get their own page with inclusions and a range.

Result: Every event type you run has a page that can be found by name.

  2. Festival pages refreshed ahead of the season

Pages for the main festivals, updated with dates and packages before the calls begin.

Result: Festival pages carry current dates before the rush.

  3. Language and spelling coverage

Page text that uses the spellings and scripts your hosts type.

Result: Search results show your page for more than one spelling.

  4. Photo pages with descriptive text

Albums with captions naming the event, the venue type and the occasion, with the host's permission recorded.

Result: Each album page has words a search engine can read.

  5. Search performance baseline

A record of the searches and pages that bring visits, set down before work begins.

Result: You see which pages gain visits against that baseline.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you promise us a first-page ranking?
No. Rankings are decided by the search engine and no one controls them. We build pages that answer what hosts search and track what changes.
Should I write separate pages for each festival?
Yes for the festivals you actually run, because a host searching for one festival wants that festival. Pages for festivals you do not run only confuse the enquiry.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
