Sports associations · Content marketing

Publish the guides and match reports that a parent saves and a sponsor reads.

Content marketing for a sports association is the writing that answers what families, players and sponsors ask: how to enter, what a trial involves, who won. GullySales works on the guides, reports and profiles that make the association easy to trust.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For sports associations

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Parents ask the same question in every message”

What age group is my child in, what do I bring, who selects. Each answer is typed afresh into chat after chat. One written guide per question saves the secretary the typing and gives parents a page to bookmark.

  • “A match report is a sponsor asset”

A report with the score, a short account of the turning point and the sponsor's name in the heading is something a dealer can show a customer. A bare scoreline in a group chat is not.

  • “Player profiles bring families back”

A short profile of a captain or a veteran umpire gives the sport a face. Written with the person's consent and read out to them first, it is the page their relatives share.

  • “The coach's knowledge never gets written”

The district's best coach knows the age proof checklist, the drill order and the common entry mistake. Until that is on a page, it leaves when the coach does.

What we do

What we deliver for sports associations.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An entry guide for parents

How to enter, the age proof needed, the fee and the last date, in plain language.

Result: The same questions stop arriving by phone.

  2. A selection explainer

How trials work, what is assessed and how the list is published.

Result: A family can read the basis for selection before asking.

  3. A match report template

Score, turning point, standout players and sponsor line, written the same way for each fixture.

Result: Whoever attended can write the report from the template.

  4. A sponsor results report

A document showing every placement, mention and photograph delivered during the event.

Result: The sponsor has a record to show their own team.

  5. A coaches' note series

Short pieces by coaches on training, rules and umpiring, edited for clarity.

Result: The knowledge sits on a page that outlasts the coach.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who should write the match reports?
Whoever attends: the team manager, an umpire or a volunteer. GullySales sets the template and edits the first drafts so the voice is the association's, not the individual's.
Can we publish the umpire's decision notes?
Publish only what the sport's rules and your federation permit. Check the current circular, and keep the tone factual rather than critical of named people.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
