Yoga ashrams · Local SEO

Show up on the map for the people who can reach you by road.

Local SEO for a yoga ashram is the work on your Google listing so the place appears when a nearby resident, or a traveller who has reached the town, looks for classes or a stay. GullySales works on the listing, the directions and the reviews that sit behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For yoga ashrams

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The last stretch of the journey is the hard part”

An ashram on a hillside or down a lane is hard to find on a phone. A guest who cannot work out the final turn rings the office or gives up, so the map pin and the written directions need to agree.

  • “City residents want a short stay close by”

A family in a city looks for a weekend stay within a few hours of home. Your listing decides whether the ashram appears for that search, and whether the page it links to answers their questions.

  • “Day visitors and residents are different searchers”

A neighbour looking for an evening class wants timings and a fee. A resident guest wants dates and rooms. One listing has to serve both without confusing either.

  • “Reviews describe the place better than you do”

Guests read recent comments on the food, the quiet at night and how strict the rules are. A listing with old or missing reviews leaves the reader to guess.

What we do

What we deliver for yoga ashrams.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified listing with correct details

Name, address, phone, hours for the office and for classes, and the booking page linked.

Result: The listing matches the ashram as it works today.

  2. A pin and written directions that agree

The pin placed on the actual gate, with plain directions from the nearest station or airport added to the page.

Result: A guest reaches the gate without ringing the office.

  3. Photographs of the place as it is

The hall, dormitory, kitchen and grounds, with no guests identifiable and none shown without their written consent.

Result: The reader sees what a bed and a meal look like.

  4. A request for reviews at departure

A gentle ask on the last day with the link, and a reply to every review in the ashram's own voice.

Result: Recent reviews sit beside the old ones, each answered.

  5. Separate entries for classes and stays

Services listed by name, so an evening class and a month's stay are each easy to find.

Result: A neighbour and a long-stay guest each find their own line.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our ashram is outside the town. Does local search still matter?
Yes. Travellers search from the town, from the station and from the road. A correct pin and directions help them find a place that sits away from the main street.
Can we show guests in our photographs?
Only with their written consent, and an ashram may choose to show the place instead. Rules about photographs in a place of practice are the ashram's to set, so decide them before publishing.
Should we reply to a negative review?
Yes, politely and in plain words, and without arguing. A reader judging a long stay is looking for how the ashram behaves when something goes wrong.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
