Casting agencies · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a producer or a new actor searches for a casting agency by name.

SEO for a casting agency is the work of making your site easy to find for two searchers, a production looking for casting and a performer checking whether your agency is genuine. GullySales works on the pages, the credits and the wording that match what each searcher types.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For casting agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A new actor searches your name before replying”

Before answering a call, an aspirant types the agency's name and reads what appears. If the top results are a stray post and an old listing, doubt wins. A page that states who you are decides the reply.

  • “Producers search by project type and language”

A line producer looks for kids' casting in Kannada or background artistes for a period shoot. A single page headed 'casting' matches none of those. A page for each type of casting you do matches what is typed.

  • “Credits are the content a producer trusts”

A page that names projects you may name, with the type of casting you did, gives a search engine something specific to read. It gives a producer proof. A vague claim of experience gives neither.

  • “Other agencies share your name or nearly”

Casting agencies in one city borrow similar names, and scam pages copy them. A consistent name, address and description across your pages and listings keeps your results from being mixed with theirs.

What we do

What we deliver for casting agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Pages for each type of casting

One page each for film, web series, ad film, child artistes, background artistes and model casting, with the languages covered.

Result: Each page answers one search a producer would type.

  2. A credits page written to be read by search

Project names you may use, the casting involved and the language, each with its own heading.

Result: Credits appear as readable text, not as a picture of a list.

  3. A name-check page for talent

A page that states your address, your policy on fees and how a genuine call looks.

Result: Searching the agency's name shows this page near the top.

  4. Consistent name details

The same agency name, address and description on your site and every listing.

Result: Each listing matches the site word for word.

  5. A search question list

The searches producers and talent type, matched against the pages that answer them.

Result: Every question has a page, and gaps are marked.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you get us to the top of the results?
GullySales cannot promise a ranking, because search results are decided by the search engine. We make the pages clear, specific and consistent, so a searcher who finds you understands what you cast.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
A blog is not required. Credit pages and a page for each type of casting do the main work. Articles help when they answer a question a producer or a performer actually asks.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
